📐 About this role

Every company grows differently, and we grow when we help our users write better, faster.

As a Senior partner engagement manager, you’re helping enterprises shorten their time to value with Writer AI apps. You will work closely with the Sales team as prospects evaluate Writer. You will provide business and technical expertise to uncover, validate, and scope use-cases. Your objective will be to reduce time to value for customers, and ensure successful project outcomes. You will provide a seamless transition from pre to post-sales, with definition and scoping for custom apps to be delivered by the Writer implementation team.

Your positivity, sense of curiosity, and ability to create champions from early adopters in the AI writing space will help shape our entire culture. If you have a builder mentality, this is the role for you.

You'll be reporting to our Director of Implementation, rolling up to our VP of Customer Success.

🦸🏻‍♀️ Your responsibilities:

  • Partner with our Account Executives in use-case validation calls as the expert to uncover how customers and prospects can use Writer solutions – including custom templates, our APIs, and Writer Framework – and our partners’ managed services.

  • Strategic selling and clear articulation of the value of Writer's AI delivery approach with partners (blueprint for success).

  • Communicate limitations and propose solutions, including custom app scope, resource needs, estimated pricing, and projected timelines.

  • Develop and maintain a deep understanding of the Writer platform, the broader AI and LLM landscape, our partners’ services, as well as our customers’ ecosystems so you can offer solution recommendations.

  • Write scope or statement of work for identified use cases, custom apps, and services.

  • Act as a resource and liaison for our implementation team and partner delivery teams, ensuring they understand the customer’s AI readiness, desired outcomes, use cases, and scope of work.

⭐️ Is this you?

  • 10+ years of technical and/or professional services roles in Enterprise SaaS or at a large GSI

  • Have worked with Fortune 500 customers

  • Experience scoping services for generative AI transformations is a huge plus

  • Experience working with high-level executives at GSIs to achieve 7-figure+ deals

  • Start-up experience or success in adapting to a rapidly changing, ambiguous start-up environment

  • An excellent communicator and collaborator, able to take complex technical concepts and translate to practical business language for non-technical audiences

  • Highly versatile, can lead a discovery session with multiple stakeholders, uncovering use cases and business pain

  • Customer outcome-oriented: a laser focus on delivering solutions that create meaningful business results

  • Experience working across many customer stakeholders and teams

What you need to know about the Seattle Tech Scene

Home to tech titans like Microsoft and Amazon, Seattle punches far above its weight in innovation. But its surrounding mountains, sprinkled with world-famous hiking trails and climbing routes, make the city a destination for outdoorsy types as well. Established as a logging town before shifting to shipbuilding and logistics, the Emerald City is now known for its contributions to aerospace, software, biotech and cloud computing. And its status as a thriving tech ecosystem is attracting out-of-town companies looking to establish new tech and engineering hubs.

Key Facts About Seattle Tech

  • Number of Tech Workers: 287,000; 13% of overall workforce (2024 CompTIA survey)
  • Major Tech Employers: Amazon, Microsoft, Meta, Google
  • Key Industries: Artificial intelligence, cloud computing, software, biotechnology, game development
  • Funding Landscape: $3.1 billion in venture capital funding in 2024 (Pitchbook)
  • Notable Investors: Madrona, Fuse, Tola, Maveron
  • Research Centers and Universities: University of Washington, Seattle University, Seattle Pacific University, Allen Institute for Brain Science, Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation, Seattle Children’s Research Institute
