Make Your Mark:
We are seeking an experienced Communications & Employee Engagement manager who will be responsible for supporting critical external and internal communication efforts for the Product & Technology team.
This person will be responsible for developing and executing on a compelling communication & engagement program inclusive of: executive communications, employee engagement activities, presentation building, internal event execution, employee recognition, and advising leadership on effective strategies to keep our employees engaged.
You will report directly to our VP of Business Operations and you will collaborate closely with P&T leadership, HR, Corporate Communications, and various teams to ensure clear, consistent, effective communication that empowers employees, aligns teams with company goals, and enhances our team effectiveness.
You'll Get To:

  • Develop and implement a comprehensive internal communication strategy for P&T to enhance transparency, foster engagement, and ensure teams are informed, aligned, and motivated (e.g., emails, Teams messages, newsletters, All-Hands, etc.)
  • Work with HR and leadership teams to create and execute employee engagement activities that boost morale, emphasize learning and growth, strengthen company culture, and increase productivity (e.g., recognition programs, surveys, team events, etc.)
  • Write and edit internal communications materials (e.g., announcements, team updates, success stories, etc.)
  • Support leadership to ensure effective communication to their teams (e.g., team All-Hands, FAQ docs, etc.)
  • Work closely with Corporate Communications, HR, Marketing, IT, and other departments to ensure alignment and consistency in messaging across all communications.
  • Plan and execute on the annual P&T Hackathon event.
  • Support presentation building for Board meetings, internal team meetings, etc.


What You'll Bring:

  • 5+ years of experience in internal communications, employee engagement, or corporate communications.
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent in a related discipline or substantial relevant on the job experience.
  • Experience working with Product & Technology teams.
  • Experience with building presentations for executive and Board-level audiences.
  • Proven experience in creating and executing communication strategies that enhance employee engagement, morale, and retention.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to adapt messaging to different audiences and platforms.
  • Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships and collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and leadership.
  • Experience with communication tools (e.g., intranet platforms, email campaigns, collaboration tools like Slack or Teams).
  • Strong organizational and project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple initiatives simultaneously.
  • Ability to analyze and interpret data to inform decision-making and drive improvements in communication and engagement.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with a strong focus on detail and quality.

Salary Range:
USD $157,000.00 - USD $196,000.00
Pay Transparency Statement:
Placement within this range depends upon several factors, including the applicant's prior relevant job experience, skill set, and geographic location. In addition to base pay, BlackLine also offers short-term and long-term incentive programs, based on eligibility, along with a robust offering of benefit and wellness plans.
