As a Senior Manager, Business Systems , you will be an integral member of the Business Systems team within the Revenue Organization. You will collaborate with the rest of Business Systems and key stakeholders to craft and deliver technical solutions to business problems and transform the way our Revenue colleagues thrive. We seek candidates who strive for simple, sophisticated solutions and continuously improve both their technical and soft skills. The ideal candidate will demonstrate the ability to work nimbly and efficiently and adapt in a constantly evolving environment.

We are searching for an experienced Engineering Leader to lead our growing Business Systems organization. You will bring extensive experience in managing teams and success in delivering highly technical multi-quarter roadmaps. Additionally, you will need to be fairly comfortable with ambiguity and possess tools to work through challenging deadlines, craft strategy, and drive execution. You will collaborate with your team to define architectural/organizational future states that we can scale toward in the future. You will need to make balanced decisions that align with our forward-looking vision and current business & technology critical needs.

What You’ll Do:

  • Develop and execute a comprehensive strategy for business systems aligned with organizational goals.
  • Define and maintain a technology roadmap to enhance operational efficiency and scalability.
  • Lead and mentor a team of system analysts, and project managers.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams (e.g., Merchant engineering , Merchant Risk , Legal Ops, Revenue, IT, Operations, CS) to understand business needs and deliver solutions.
  • Oversee the implementation, integration, and upgrades of enterprise business systems (e.g., Salesforce,IronClad, Snowflake, Workato, Mordor).
  • Ensure system configurations are optimized to meet evolving business requirements.
  • Conduct regular system audits and recommend improvements to increase efficiency and reduce costs.
  • Develop metrics and reports to track system performance and ROI.(Jira , story point , sprint cadence etc)
  • Oversee program deliverables, define scope, and manage expectations for successful product migrations.
  • Lead and execute billing systems initiatives to support diverse product and pricing strategies.
  • Establish and maintain strong partnerships with cross-functional teams—Sales Operations, IT, Engineering, and Product Development—acting as the primary Point of Contact (POC) for the Business Systems team.
  • Leverage project management tools (e.g., Jira, Notion) to deliver timely updates on internal projects, product launches, and roadmap progress.
  • Identify and drive continuous improvement efforts to streamline and enhance operational processes.
  • Address system issues promptly and develop long-term solutions to prevent recurring problems.
  • Recommend and advocate for tools that align with the company's strategic direction.

What We Look For:

  • 8+ years of experience with business systems, with a focus on the commerce-to-cash process, complemented by corporate experience and/or a background in systems consulting.
  • 8+ years of experience leading multiple team members.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, IT, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Demonstrated ability to take initiative while collaborating closely with teammates, learning from others, and sharing insights with the broader team.
  • Proficient in Salesforce (SFDC), SQL, Snowflake and other reporting tools.
  • Strong skills in analytical thinking, problem-solving, and organization.
  • Skilled in reporting, data analysis, and data visualization.
  • Knowledgeable in Quote-to-Cash processes and systems such as Salesforce CPQ.
  • Extensive cross-functional experience with excellent collaboration skills, capable of working with all levels of management across diverse functional teams.
  • Able to synthesize and distill complex information, and handle ambiguity with ease.
  • Capable of understanding intricate system architecture where data flows through interconnected systems managed by various teams.
  • Experienced in system implementations, user acceptance testing, and related documentation.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects and meet tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Technically adept with a proven ability to quickly learn new technologies.
     

Pay Grade - N

Equity Grade - 10

Employees new to Affirm typically come in at the start of the pay range. Affirm focuses on providing a simple and transparent pay structure which is based on a variety of factors, including location, experience and job-related skills.

Base pay is part of a total compensation package that may include equity rewards, monthly stipends for health, wellness and tech spending, and benefits (including 100% subsidized medical coverage, dental and vision for you and your dependents.)

USA base pay range (CA, WA, NY, NJ, CT) per year: $190,000 - $240,000

USA base pay range (all other U.S. states) per year: $169,000 - $219,000
