Position Overview: As a Sales Development Representative (SDR) at Wander, you will play a crucial role in driving our growth by identifying and nurturing potential clients. Your primary focus will be on outbound cold calling and pitching, and serving as the first point of contact for potential clients, responsible for ensuring a smooth hand-off to our Account Executives (AEs), maintaining engagement throughout the process, and ensuring timely follow-ups. This role offers a competitive commission potential for securing high-quality, “10/10” homes, making it a vital part of our sales strategy.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Cold Calling and Pitching

  • Thorough Discovery Process

  • Scheduling and Coordination:

    • Schedule Deep Dive meetings, adding calls for all parties to calendars with video conferencing links

    • Ensure all parties accept invites and follow up to confirm availability

    • Introduce AEs to owners/prospects via email

  • Meeting Participation and Documentation:

    • Attend Deep Dive meetings, take detailed notes, and review call recordings for continuous learning

    • Create projections and capex requirements ahead of each call

    • Review calls with leadership for additional coaching

    • Send a call summary to all parties along with relevant documents

  • Follow-Up:

    • Maintain open lines of communication, ensuring follow-ups if there’s a period of no contact

    • Schedule and attend contract review calls, adding to calendars with video conference links

    • Send summaries and follow up after a week if contracts remain unsigned

Qualifications:

  • Must be live in PST, CST, MST, or EST

  • Must have a professional work set-up with high speed internet and an iPhone

  • Proven experience in a sales or business development role, preferably within the travel or real estate industry

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and schedules

  • Self-motivated with a high degree of initiative and the ability to work independently

  • Proficient in using CRM software, Google Docs, and Zoom

  • Ability to learn and adapt quickly in a fast-paced environment

Compensation:

  • Competitive base salary with uncapped commissions.
