Why work at Nebius
Nebius is leading a new era in cloud computing to serve the global AI economy. We create the tools and resources our customers need to solve real-world challenges and transform industries, without massive infrastructure costs or the need to build large in-house AI/ML teams. Our employees work at the cutting edge of AI cloud infrastructure alongside some of the most experienced and innovative leaders and engineers in the field.

Where we work
Headquartered in Amsterdam and listed on Nasdaq, Nebius has a global footprint with R&D hubs across Europe, North America, and Israel. The team of over 800 employees includes more than 400 highly skilled engineers with deep expertise across hardware and software engineering, as well as an in-house AI R&D team.

The role

Nebius is seeking a dynamic and motivated Sales Development Representative (SDR) to join our team and help expand our presence in the USA. This role is focused on qualifying potential customers, attending industry conferences, and driving warm outreach efforts. As an SDR, you will play a crucial role in identifying and engaging key prospects within our target audience, which includes model builders, model tuners, generative AI companies, AI-focused enterprises, and research institutions.

You are welcome to work remotely anywhere in USA.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Lead Generation and Qualification: Identify and qualify potential customers in the USA market, focusing on companies and institutions involved in AI model development, tuning, and product integration. Use BANT criteria (Budget, Authority, Need, Timing) to ensure high-quality lead qualification.
  • Conference Attendance: Represent Nebius AI at key industry conferences and events across the USA. Network with attendees, engage with potential customers, and drive interest in Nebius AI’s offerings.
  • Warm Outreach: Manage and nurture warm leads generated from conferences, webinars, and inbound inquiries. Engage prospects through personalized emails, calls, and social media interactions to build relationships and move them through the sales funnel.
  • Market Coverage: Develop and execute strategies to penetrate the US market, targeting specific companies such as Mistral, Behavox, Luma AI, JetBrains, and leading research institutions. Tailor outreach efforts to connect with key decision-makers, including Founders, CEOs, CTOs, and Heads/VPs/Directors of AI.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with the sales and marketing teams to align on strategies, share insights from the field, and ensure a cohesive approach to market expansion.
  • Reporting and CRM Management: Maintain accurate records of all lead interactions in the CRM. Regularly report on lead generation activities, pipeline progress, and market insights.

Key Metrics:

  • Number of Sales Qualified Leads (SQLs) generated and passed to the Account Executive team.
  • Number of SQLs entering the sales pipeline from conferences and warm outreach.
  • Activity levels, including calls, emails, social outreach, and meetings.
  • Contribution to overall pipeline growth and revenue generation.

We expect you to have:

  • Proven experience as an SDR or similar role in B2B sales, preferably in the technology or cloud computing sectors.
  • Strong understanding of the AI/ML landscape and the needs of companies working in model building, tuning, and AI product development.
  • Excellent communication and networking skills, with the ability to engage and build relationships with C-level executives and technical leaders.
  • Experience attending and representing companies at industry conferences.
  • Self-motivated, goal-oriented, and able to work independently in a remote environment.
  • Familiarity with CRM systems (e.g., HubSpot) and sales outreach tools.
  • Ability to travel within the USA for conferences and client meetings.

Key Employee Benefits:

  • Health Insurance: 100% company-paid medical, dental, and vision coverage for employees and families.
  • 401(k) Plan: Up to 4% company match with immediate vesting.
  • Parental Leave: 20 weeks paid for primary caregivers, 12 weeks for secondary caregivers.
  • Remote Work Reimbursement: Up to $85/month for mobile and internet.
  • Disability & Life Insurance: Company-paid short-term, long-term, and life insurance coverage.

What you need to know about the Seattle Tech Scene

Home to tech titans like Microsoft and Amazon, Seattle punches far above its weight in innovation. But its surrounding mountains, sprinkled with world-famous hiking trails and climbing routes, make the city a destination for outdoorsy types as well. Established as a logging town before shifting to shipbuilding and logistics, the Emerald City is now known for its contributions to aerospace, software, biotech and cloud computing. And its status as a thriving tech ecosystem is attracting out-of-town companies looking to establish new tech and engineering hubs.

Key Facts About Seattle Tech

  • Number of Tech Workers: 287,000; 13% of overall workforce (2024 CompTIA survey)
  • Major Tech Employers: Amazon, Microsoft, Meta, Google
  • Key Industries: Artificial intelligence, cloud computing, software, biotechnology, game development
  • Funding Landscape: $3.1 billion in venture capital funding in 2024 (Pitchbook)
  • Notable Investors: Madrona, Fuse, Tola, Maveron
  • Research Centers and Universities: University of Washington, Seattle University, Seattle Pacific University, Allen Institute for Brain Science, Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation, Seattle Children’s Research Institute
