We are looking for a highly organized and strategic Program Manager who will partner with senior leadership and act similarly as a Chief of Staff for our Global Sales team. This role is essential in driving operational efficiency, supporting leadership, and enhancing business outcomes. The ideal candidate will streamline processes, improve decision-making, and ensure the smooth execution of key business reviews, communications, and cross-functional initiatives.
Key Responsibilities:

  1. Business Reviews: Lead and continuously improve monthly and quarterly business reviews, coaching leaders on content and presentation.
  2. Internal Communications: Partner with communications leads to drive global communications, fostering team engagement and cascading key information.
  3. Operational Leadership Effectiveness: Diagnose pain points and implement solutions to improve team effectiveness, decision-making, and access to information.
  4. Operational Cadence: Establish and manage key operational processes, such as leadership meetings and retrospectives, while continuously seeking improvements.
  5. Project & Program Awareness: Keep leadership informed on projects or programs that may impact the business, providing proactive insights and updates.
  6. Leadership Support: Ensure leadership is prepared for program deadlines by coordinating necessary resources, information, and deliverables.
  7. Strategic Facilitation: Facilitate brainstorming sessions with functional leaders, guiding strategy development and crafting actionable plans.
  8. Complex Project Management: Lead or advise on complex strategic or operational projects, driving them from ideation to completion as needed.


Qualifications:

  • 10+ years of experience in program management, business operations, or strategy roles, preferably at a senior level within a global organization.
  • Proven track record of partnering with senior executives to drive strategic initiatives and operational improvements.
  • Strong leadership capabilities, with experience coaching and influencing senior stakeholders on content, communications, and decision-making.
  • Expertise in establishing operational cadences and processes, with the ability to drive continuous improvement.
  • Experience leading complex, cross-functional projects from inception through execution.

  • Strong leadership presence and ability to manage and influence senior executives.
  • Ability to diagnose organizational challenges and implement effective, scalable solutions.

Compensation
At Atlassian, we strive to design equitable, explainable, and competitive compensation programs. To support this goal, the baseline of our range is higher than that of the typical market range, but in turn we expect to hire most candidates near this baseline. Base pay within the range is ultimately determined by a candidate's skills, expertise, or experience. In the United States, we have three geographic pay zones. For this role, our current base pay ranges for new hires in each zone are:
Zone A: $164,400 - $219,200
Zone B: $148,000 - $197,300
Zone C: $136,500 - $182,000
This role may also be eligible for benefits, bonuses, commissions, and equity.
