Job Description SummaryAre you passionate about empowering sales professionals to reach their full potential? As a Commercial Learning Leader for our Commercial Skills Program, you'll play a key role in shaping the future of GE Healthcare’s front-line sales representatives in the US and Canada (USCAN) Region. Within the onboarding process, you'll deliver selling skills workshops as part of a comprehensive training program that equips new hires with the skills and knowledge they need to excel.
Responsible for activities and processes that help the sales organization achieve business objectives.
Impacts the team's ability to achieve service, quality and timeliness of objectives. Subject to Commercial policy objectives. Has independence in achieving commercial objectives within operating budgets and operating guidelines. There is moderate autonomy within the role to enter into/execute Commercial arrangements. High levels of Commercial judgment are required to achieve outcomes required.

Job DescriptionRoles & Responsibilities:

  • Engaging Training Delivery: Design and deliver dynamic training sessions, both virtually and in-person, to inspire and activate our new sales hires.

  • Technology-Driven Support: Provide ongoing support through technology platforms, ensuring new hires have access to the tools and content they need to succeed.

  • Continuous Improvement: Assess and enhance the effectiveness of our training programs using feedback and experiential learning.

  • Adult Learning Principles: Apply best practices in adult learning to create impactful training curricula.

  • Strategic Decision Making: Use your analytical skills to solve complex problems and improve training programs.

  • Effective Communication: Develop dashboards and systems to clearly communicate training outcomes.

  • Influence and Leadership: Collaborate with sales leaders to drive the learning strategy and ensure the successful implementation of new skills.

  • Support additional initiatives to advance commercial skills as needed of existing GE HealthCare colleagues.

Collaborative Environment:

You will routinely work with:

  • Front-line Sales Representatives from all GE HealthCare USCAN strategic business units.

  • Your peers on the USCAN Commercial Learning team and the extended USCAN Learning and Development organization.

  • USCAN Product Trainers.

  • Sales and marketing leaders across the US and Canada.

  • The USCAN Commercial Excellence, Federal Accounts, and Healthcare Finance teams.

  • Senior Learning and Development leadership, including the Sr. Director of Commercial Learning, Sr. Director of Leadership Development, and Head of USCAN Learning.

Required Qualifications:

  • 3+ years of experience in developing, delivering, and measuring training programs.

  • 2+ years of medical sales experience in fields such as medical capital equipment, devices, diagnostics, pharmaceuticals, biotechnology, or vaccines.

  • Excellent presentation and facilitation skills.

  • Strong influencing and written communication skills.

  • Flexibility and resilience in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.

  • Strong decision-making and organizational skills.

  • Proven ability to create a positive learning environment, both in-person and virtually.

  • Experience with Learning Management Systems (LMS) and Sales Enablement platforms.

  • Outstanding influencing skills to guide competency development without direct reporting authority (i.e., peer leadership).

  • Proven project planning skills.

  • A solutions-oriented team player.

  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications.

Desired Qualifications:

  • Trainer certification or expertise in selling skills methodologies.

  • Understanding of sales processes and customer engagement strategies.

  • Proven ability to establish and manage productive vendor relationships.

  • Program management experience.

  • Strong working knowledge of how to use data in Salesforce.com and Power BI in the sales process

  • Ability to develop and leverage learning metrics for continuous process improvement.

  • Knowledge of adult learning theories.

  • Experience/expertise in instructional and curriculum design; eLearning authoring skills are highly desirable for this role.

  • Willingness to become a certified master trainer on content delivered within this training program.

  • Exhibit a strong ability to collaborate and influence effectively at all levels of the organization and work well within a team.

  • Ability to solve complex problems and translate vision to achievable results.

  • Assertiveness: takes initiative to generate results, uses data and other inputs to make decisions, owns decisions, and takes accountability for work using strong organizational and analytical skills.

For U.S. based positions only, the pay range for this position is $144,800.00-$217,200.00 Annual. It is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the pay range and compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. The specific compensation offered to a candidate may be influenced by a variety of factors including skills, qualifications, experience and location. In addition, this position may also be eligible to earn performance based incentive compensation, which may include cash bonus(es) and/or long term incentives (LTI). GE HealthCare offers a competitive benefits package, including not but limited to medical, dental, vision, paid time off, a 401(k) plan with employee and company contribution opportunities, life, disability, and accident insurance, and tuition reimbursement.
