Job Duties and Responsibilities
Lead a high-performing team and shape the future of in-home entertainment and smart home technology! DISH Network is seeking a dynamic and results-oriented Business Operations Manager to lead our Sales Operations and Product team within our In-Home Services (IHS) business unit. This pivotal role will directly impact the success of our technician on-site sales efforts and optimize partnerships with our OnTech brand. You will be a key driver of revenue growth, collaborating with Account Management, Business Development, IHS field teams, vendors, and strategic partners. This is a player-coach role where you will develop your team while spearheading critical projects, negotiating with vendors, and presenting to executive leadership.
Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and mentor a team of up to 5 product and program managers, fostering a high-performance culture
  • Drive product strategy and execution, collaborating with vendors to make key product decisions impacting a $75M+ P&L
  • Develop and present new business opportunities and strategic initiatives to executive leadership
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with legal, finance, IT, and distribution teams to ensure seamless execution
  • Define and own team priorities, and deliverables, ensuring alignment with business objectives
  • Analyze market trends in entertainment and smart home technology to identify growth opportunities and inform product roadmap
  • Manage vendor relationships, negotiating contracts and ensuring service level agreements are met


Skills, Experience and Requirements
Education and Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Minimum 2 years of experience managing and developing high-performing teams, with a proven track record of success


Skills and Qualifications:

  • Demonstrated experience in vendor management and negotiation
  • Excellent verbal and written communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills
  • Proven ability to collaborate effectively , drive accountability, and achieve results across multiple teams
  • Adaptability and agility to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment, effectively managing change and ambiguity
  • Strong business acumen, analytical thinking, and decision-making skills
  • Experience in the entertainment, telecommunications, or smart home technology industry is a plus

Salary Ranges
Compensation: $100,000.00/Year - $110,000.00/Year

The base pay range shown is a guideline. Individual total compensation will vary based on factors such as qualifications, skill level, and competencies; compensation is based on the role's location and is subject to change based on work location.
