Job Duties and Responsibilities
The Business Operations Manager will manage a Dish TV Agent Application Team within the larger CXO organization. This team plays a key role in ensuring that Customer Experience Operations (CXO) agents have the proper tools to be successful in their jobs, and that customers are highly satisfied in their experience interacting with DISH. This team focuses on the defining and maintaining business requirements based on the larger business initiatives and agent needs, while providing an intuitive and seamless application user experience. Collaborating closely with multiple business and IT stakeholders throughout project lifecycles, from initial concept to production delivery, the team supports the launch of new initiatives while aligning agent tools with DISH's business direction. You will manage a team of analysts and be responsible for their production and professional development.
Key Responsibilities:

  • Managing and mentoring team members, guiding their day-to-day activities, providing guidance and assistance as needed, and helping to develop their skills and knowledge
  • Able to challenge stakeholders, identify flaws in arguments, ask pertinent questions to determine and influence the best course of action, and able to coach these behaviors
  • Develop expertise around products to provide Core SME support across Dish TV and OnTech
  • Engages our business and IT partners to ensure alignment and timing of all functionality being developed
  • Proactively identify and surface opportunities to improve applications, operations, communication, processes, etc
  • Self-starter, curious, accountable, enjoys a healthy level of autonomy, strong work ethic, able to succeed in a fast-paced, high-intensity entrepreneurial-like business environment
  • Design, prioritize, and execute projects that drive CXO and DISH strategic objectives and building relationships across departments to do so
  • Comfortable interacting with all levels of business people. Proactive with a 'can do' attitude and is comfortable prioritizing and balancing workloads
  • Knows when to check in with management


Skills, Experience and Requirements
Education and Experience:

  • A bachelor's degree and 3+ years of relevant or equivalent experience


Skills and Qualifications:

  • Strong interpersonal skills, with proven success working cross-functionally across the enterprise to devise mutually acceptable solutions
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including ability to write succinct updates for and present to Senior Leadership
  • Open to occasional travel to CXO sites
  • Management experience: mentoring, setting team vision, hiring direct reports, prioritizing work preferred

Salary Ranges
Compensation: $83,950.00/Year - $110,000.00/Year

The base pay range shown is a guideline. Individual total compensation will vary based on factors such as qualifications, skill level, and competencies; compensation is based on the role's location and is subject to change based on work location.
