This role is hands-on, focused on content updates, page builds, and web maintenance for our blog and organic site sections. You’ll work closely with various teams—including Marketing, Creative, Product, and Engineering—to help deliver high-quality web experiences that support business and campaign goals, while also ensuring content meets brand, SEO, and accessibility standards.

The base salary offered for this role and level of experience will begin at $68,490 and up to $93,200. Full-time employees are also eligible for a bonus, competitive equity package, and benefits. The actual base salary offered may be higher, depending on your location, skills, qualifications, and experience.

In this role, you can expect to

  • Manage and publish content using CMS platforms by building, editing, optimizing, and maintaining pages—while also understanding how to use advanced components, templates, and media types to create high-quality web experiences on Chime.com.
  • Manage and prioritize incoming web requests of varying complexity, supporting the end-to-end execution from intake through publishing. Help define the project scope, implementation strategy, and technical feasibility, while ensuring timely execution from concept to publishing.
  • Collaborate closely with content creators, designers, and engineers to execute web projects that align with stakeholder objectives and goals. Leverage information architecture best practices, creativity, and user experience principles to deploy web updates using various system platforms and coding methods.
  • Apply SEO best practices during content production and publishing, ensuring proper use of metadata, keyword optimization, schema, alt text, and internal linking to support search visibility and performance.
  • Conduct comprehensive QA, proofreading, and component testing to meet all functional and user experience requirements. Ensure compliance with analytics tracking, usability, and accessibility.
  • Consistently follow established content architecture, taxonomy, and naming conventions to ensure organized and scalable content. Adhere to approved templates, design patterns, and publishing workflows to maintain site consistency and quality.
  • Contribute to ongoing CMS improvements by participating in testing, providing feedback, and learning new components and functionality as they are developed.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve CMS-related issues as they arise, escalate bugs as needed, and help maintain documentation around web publishing processes and guidelines.

To thrive in this role, you have

  • 2+ years of experience in web production, digital content management, and/or marketing, preferably in tech, consumer finance, or innovative consumer brands.
  • Advanced expertise in Contentful, WordPress or similar CMS platforms, with experience managing large, complex content libraries.
  • Solid understanding of UX and SEO principles, with a focus on optimizing web performance, enhancing user engagement, and improving search engine visibility.
  • Highly detail-oriented with a strong habit of checking your work—proofreading content, running QA, and testing functionality to catch issues early and ensure accuracy before publishing.
  • Solid project management and organizational processes, with excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Effective communication skills, ability to interact with both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Solid working knowledge of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript, plus experience using debugging tools to spot and fix issues when needed.
  • Familiarity with Agile methodologies, Jira, and Scrum is a plus.

What you need to know about the Seattle Tech Scene

Home to tech titans like Microsoft and Amazon, Seattle punches far above its weight in innovation. But its surrounding mountains, sprinkled with world-famous hiking trails and climbing routes, make the city a destination for outdoorsy types as well. Established as a logging town before shifting to shipbuilding and logistics, the Emerald City is now known for its contributions to aerospace, software, biotech and cloud computing. And its status as a thriving tech ecosystem is attracting out-of-town companies looking to establish new tech and engineering hubs.

Key Facts About Seattle Tech

  • Number of Tech Workers: 287,000; 13% of overall workforce (2024 CompTIA survey)
  • Major Tech Employers: Amazon, Microsoft, Meta, Google
  • Key Industries: Artificial intelligence, cloud computing, software, biotechnology, game development
  • Funding Landscape: $3.1 billion in venture capital funding in 2024 (Pitchbook)
  • Notable Investors: Madrona, Fuse, Tola, Maveron
  • Research Centers and Universities: University of Washington, Seattle University, Seattle Pacific University, Allen Institute for Brain Science, Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation, Seattle Children’s Research Institute
