This UX Researcher analyst serves in a consultative capacity while leading large, complex research projects for various internal clients and Compassion departments. The specialist further performs and may lead junior team members in performing a variety of tasks essential to the completion of several concurrent research projects, and adheres to stringent timelines and quality standards.  At this career level, the incumbent leads or conducts major, complex research projects and initiatives for multiple countries. Further, she or he often coaches and oversees the work of other UX researchers.

What will you do?

  • Maintains a personal relationship with Jesus Christ. Is a consistent witness for Jesus Christ, maintains a courteous, Christ-like attitude in dealing with people within and outside of Compassion, and faithfully upholds Compassion’s ministry in prayer.

  • Acts as an advocate to raise the awareness of the needs of children. Understands Christ’s mandate to protect children. Commits to and prioritizes child protection considerations in all decision-making, tasks and activities across the ministry. Abides by all behavioral expectations in Compassion’s Statement of Commitment to Child Protection and Code of Conduct. Reports any concerns of abuse, neglect or exploitation of children through Compassion’s internal reporting process and appropriately supports responses to incidents if they occur.

  • Processes and analyzes large, complex sets of both qualitative and quantitative data and develops complex research reports and presentations tailored to audiences of managers and senior leaders.

  • Take part in various aspects of multiple, large research projects and carefully identifies and manages project specifications, assignments, and deadlines to deliver quality output and maintain project timelines for multiple internal clients.

  • Performs a broad range of complex data collection and analysis activities, on both qualitative and quantitative projects, which may include leading focus groups, conducting in-person or phone interviews, writing and conducting surveys, performing open-end coding/content analyses, and conducting various statistical analyses such as frequencies and other data summaries, etc.

  • Provides complex research reports on large, concurrent projects and delivers presentations to senior leaders and management that are concise, compelling, and targeted to key research objectives to deliver actionable insights to internal clients and groups.

  • Utilizes project management and consulting skills to keep projects on scope, on budget, and on schedule.

  • Identifies and builds relationships with user experience research firms to best serve internal clients. Evaluates and provides recommendations regarding what research can be accomplished in-house and implements research projects accordingly.

  • Continually works to expand and refine user experience - research expertise, through on-the-job learning and studying User Experience Research literature, to stay current with industry human factor insights and developments as well as increase contributions to the research function.

  • Coaches and provides expertise, and may oversee the work of other professionals and support staff in the market research discipline.
