Overview:  

Aa a leading provider of software solutions for mortgage servicing, Sagent is committed to delivering innovative mortgage servicing solutions. We are seeking a User Experience (UX) Designer to join our team and contribute to building user-centric digital products that serve both business clients and end consumers. In this role, you will design intuitive interfaces, ensuring our software enhances the mortgage servicing experience for a diverse set of users.

Your Day-to-Day at Sagent:

Design and Prototyping:  

  • Create wireframes, mockups, and prototypes that translate complex mortgage processes into simple, intuitive user flows.  
  • Collaborate with product managers and developers to refine designs and implement feedback, ensuring seamless experiences for both lenders and end users.  
  • Maintain and update design assets and style guides to ensure consistency across our software suite.  

User Research:  

  • Conduct user research, including interviews, surveys, and usability testing, to gather insights and validate design decisions.  
  • Analyze user data to identify pain points, understand mortgage servicing needs, and translate findings into actionable design recommendations.  

Cross-functional Collaboration:  

  • Work closely with Product, Development, and Marketing teams to ensure designs align with business goals and technical feasibility. 
  • Participate in design reviews, providing and receiving constructive feedback to improve overall user experience.  
  • Assis in the development of user personas and journey maps to better understand target audiences across of user environments.  

We'd Love to Hear From You if You Have: 

  • Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design, Computer Science, or relevant discipline with 3 - 4 years of experience in a related field. Experience will be considered in lieu of a degree. 
  • Proficiency in design tools such as Figma, Sketch, or Adobe XD.  
  • Strong understanding of user-centered design principals and best practices, especially in B2B2C SaaS based software environments. 
  • Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to diagnose complex technical issues effectively.  
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for teamwork and effective customer interactions.  
  • Customer-focused mindset with a dedication to delivering exceptional support experiences.  
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize work in a fast-paced environment.
