The Opportunity 

Adobe Design is looking for Sr. Visual Designer to join our Document Cloud Gen AI team. You’ll work on products such as Adobe Acrobat, Sign, and Scan (just to name a few) that are ubiquitous in the lives and work of more than 600 million monthly active users and span across a multitude of surfaces and platforms. As the fastest-growing cloud in all of Adobe, you'll be given the opportunity to design the future of documents for the everyday knowledge worker, solopreneur, and individual around the world.

You are a design visionary who thrives on bridging brand identity with emerging AI technologies. You bring a user-centered approach to every aspect of the design process, crafting experiences that delight and inspire. You excel at cross-functional collaboration, guiding teams toward a shared creative vision. You relentlessly push boundaries while maintaining brand coherence, ensuring excellence at every touchpoint. Above all, you strive to empower customers, enhancing their knowledge work with innovative solutions.

What you'll do 

  • Inspire the team and company with a bold vision for future product experiences

  • Lead visual strategy, defining principles and systems that connect innovative product design with the Adobe brand

  • Drive large-scale, ambitious, design initiatives that set new standards and push innovation across the company

  • Create delightful user interactions that unite functionality and motion

  • Produce high-quality, innovative visual content under tight timelines, balancing creativity with speed.

  • Partner cross-functionally on generative AI initiatives to enhance customer value

  • Develop on-brand systems and templates that empower teams to build consistent experiences

What you need to succeed 

  • 3–5+ years of proven visual design experience, demonstrating a user-centered, brand-focused approach

  • Sophisticated motion and interaction design skills, using animation to enrich user experiences

  • Mastery of typography, grids, color theory, and visual design fundamentals

  • Proficient in developing product experiences based on technology and current usability trends

  • Proven track record to handle complex, ambiguous projects and scale visual systems

  • Excellence in cross-functional collaboration, including clear communication and team leadership

  • Growth mindset with a passion for bold innovation balanced by a commitment to brand integrity

  • Strategic, customer-centric problem-solver who balances business goals with user needs

  • Experience mentoring or guiding designers to elevate overall visual design quality

The U.S. pay range for this position is $117,000 -- $227,500 annually. Pay within this range varies by work location and may also depend on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Your recruiter can share more about the specific salary range for the job location during the hiring process.

At Adobe, for sales roles starting salaries are expressed as total target compensation (TTC = base + commission), and short-term incentives are in the form of sales commission plans.  Non-sales roles starting salaries are expressed as base salary and short-term incentives are in the form of the Annual Incentive Plan (AIP).

In addition, certain roles may be eligible for long-term incentives in the form of a new hire equity award.
