What You’ll Do at Stepful

  • Develop a Video Strategy: Define the creative vision for a cohesive, high-quality educational video series that enhances student engagement and learning outcomes.

  • Script Development: Craft clear, engaging, and structured scripts that effectively communicate complex healthcare concepts.

  • Video Production Oversight: Manage the production process from concept to final edit, ensuring all content aligns with Stepful’s brand and educational goals.

  • Creative Direction: Innovate with new formats, animations, and storytelling techniques to create content that captivates and educates.

  • Collaboration and Feedback: Work closely with the Learning Program Manager and other stakeholders to refine and optimize videos for publishing.

  • Talent Coaching: Guide on-screen instructors on best practices for scene placement, lighting, and recording setups to ensure high-quality delivery.

  • Quality Assurance: Ensure high standards of video quality, including color correction, audio enhancement, and seamless transitions.

Key Qualifications

  • Vision & Strategy: Proven ability to conceptualize and execute a cohesive video series that enhances engagement and learning.

  • Experience: 5+ years of experience in art direction and video production, preferably in an educational or training-focused context.

  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in video editing software such as Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, or similar tools.

  • Storytelling & Creativity: Strong storytelling abilities with a knack for making educational content engaging and accessible.

  • Collaboration: Ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams, including subject matter experts, instructors, and designers.

  • Project Management: Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines.

  • Attention to Detail: Keen eye for quality to ensure accuracy, consistency, and a polished final product.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Education: Bachelor's Degree

  • Experience: 5+ years experience in art direction in an educational context
