Job Summary & Responsibilities
We are seeking an experienced and strategic Senior Director of Talent to oversee our comprehensive talent function, including Talent Acquisition, Talent Management, and HR Business Partner teams. This leadership role will drive our people strategy to attract, develop, and retain exceptional talent while fostering an inclusive culture that enables high performance. This role will report to the Managing Director, People & Culture and have three direct reports (Director, Talent Acquisition, Director, HRBP, and Talent Management Manager).
Strategic Leadership

  • Develop and execute a comprehensive talent strategy aligned with business objectives
  • Serve as a trusted advisor to the senior leaders team on talent matters
  • Lead transformation initiatives to enhance talent practices and organizational effectiveness
  • Oversee budget planning and resource allocation for the talent function


Talent Acquisition

  • Direct recruitment strategies across all levels and departments
  • Implement innovative sourcing approaches to build diverse talent pipelines
  • Optimize the candidate experience and selection processes
  • Establish metrics to measure recruitment effectiveness and efficiency


Talent Management

  • Design performance management frameworks that drive accountability and development
  • Create career pathing and succession planning programs
  • Develop learning and development initiatives that build critical capabilities
  • Implement talent review processes to identify and nurture high-potential employees


HR Business Partnership

  • Lead the HRBP team in providing strategic people support to business leaders
  • Guide workforce planning, organizational design, and change management
  • Partner with compensation to design competitive total rewards programs
  • Lead M&A integration planning and execution


Team Leadership

  • Manage, mentor, and develop a team of talent professionals
  • Foster collaboration across Talent Acquisition, Talent Management, and HRBP functions as well as across the entire HR Department
  • Build a high-performing team culture focused on service excellence
  • Establish clear goals, metrics, and accountability systems


Preferred Qualifications
Experience

  • 15+ years of progressive HR experience with at least 5 years in senior leadership
  • Proven track record leading talent acquisition, talent management, and HRBP functions
  • Experience in scaling organizations through periods of growth
  • Background working with executive leadership teams on strategic talent initiatives


Knowledge & Skills

  • Deep understanding of talent acquisition strategies and modern recruitment technologies
  • Expertise in performance management, succession planning, and leadership development
  • Strong business acumen and ability to connect talent initiatives to business outcomes
  • Data-driven approach to talent decisions with experience using HR analytics
  • Knowledge of employment law and compliance requirements


Education & Certifications

  • Bachelor's degree required; Master's degree in HR, Organizational Development, or related field preferred
  • SPHR, SHRM-SCP, or equivalent professional certification desirable
