The Role:
We are excited to bring a motivated Senior Director of Consultant Relations to our Carrot Commercial organization to work remotely, with travel. In this role, you will primarily liaise as a strategic advisor for an assigned set of consultant firms. You will be responsible for developing and implementing a strategic plan to achieve sales and retention goals with the firms you cover. In addition, you will have a multifaceted understanding of key contacts, how they market themselves, market segments targeted, their business operations, and their alignment with Carrot’s value proposition. You will direct the relationships within your assigned firms in partnership with Employer and Client Success teams.
The Team:
The consultant relations team has a highly specialized sales function within the Carrot Commercial organization. Our primary goal is to maintain effective inbound and outbound communications and relationships with benefit consultants around the country and, increasingly, globally.
Minimum Qualifications:
- 5-7 years in external relationship management that directly aligns with the responsibilities
- 4 Year/Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience (4 years of experience in lieu of Bachelor's)
- Demonstrates advanced relationship management skills with internal clients (e.g. management, peers and colleagues) and external clients; proven ability to develop creative and collaborative approaches
- Confident, comfortable communicator with strong written and verbal communication skills
- Strong presentation skills with demonstrated ability to influence at all levels of management through clear, informed and logical discussions/presentations
- Proven track record of exceeding sales goals and quota
Preferred Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Public Health, Business, Communications or equivalent
- A minimum of 7 years of sales (channel alliance/relationship oriented) or consulting experience in health, wellness or digital health
- Consistent over achievement in quota and revenue goals
Compensation:
Carrot offers a holistic Total Rewards package designed to support our employees in all aspects of their life inside and outside of work, including health and wellness benefits, retirement savings plans, short- and long-term incentives, parental leave, family-forming assistance, and a competitive compensation package. The starting base salary for this position will range from $170,000.00 - $190,000.00. Actual compensation may vary from posted base salary depending on your confirmed job-related skills and experience.
