Synopsis of the role

Responsibilities include leading and oversight of a group of consultants in relation to providing support and/or subject matter expertise to the sales function during all phases of the sales cycle (lead  generation, assessment of client’s needs, solutions design, proposal preparation, products/solutions  presentations/training, and client support and relationship management throughout solution  delivery/implementation). Display and provide thought leadership both internally and externally regarding the use and application of data and analytics for competitive advantage. Roles in this function may also be involved in operational areas such as quota  management, RFP response, account support, sales effectiveness and reporting. 

What you’ll do

  • Manage and lead a team of Analytical Consultants and/or Solution Designers who consult with clients for analytical or specialized solutions, with a goal of demonstrating innovative solutions and exceptional value-add to address the customer's objectives

  • Develop and maintain senior level relationships whereby Equifax can be viewed as a trusted advisor, specific  to industry trends, best practices, thought leadership and other relevant areas of interest 

  • Command an excellent understanding of the way scorecards and configurable insights and solutions are built, having worked on a number of developments across several verticals

  • Display thought leadership qualities and often work autonomously sometimes making important decisions regarding set projects

  • Direct experience on a number of Equifax solutions or direct industry technologies from pre-sales through to post-sales, with known and proven results

  • Proactively work closely with Sales Leaders to achieve FY revenue budgets/targets and position for long-term success

  • Serve in an internal consulting support capacity for marketing and product development initiatives related  to new solutions including pricing strategies, product positioning, industry assessment and internal training

  • Provide coaching, training and oversight as needed for the consultants’ job responsibilities including strategic account planning, client discovery, solution development, proposal writing, client presentations  and project management. 

  • Demonstrate mastery of Equifax data and the process of transforming that data into consumable business intelligence

  • Fully understand the changing economic and regulatory environment and present solutions that address  current challenges

What experience you need 

  • 10 years industry experience in risk/marketing analytics

  • 5+ years leading and managing a team of experts while supporting them and motivating team to achieve revenue targets

  • Experience working with Consumer/Commercial credit data and solutions

  • Experience in a consultative environment within a client-service business

  • Experience in Statistics and Analytics – developing methodologies for analytical work and translating results into actionable business insights and strategies

  • Client Facing with ability to lead and facilitate meetings that showcase strong solution development process & approach

  • Deep industry insight of current & future priorities due to changing market conditions

  • Strong project management skills, well organized, high attention to detail and results-oriented
