Position Summary

At ExtraHop, we’re looking for a skilled Front End Software Engineer III to join our team where you'll play a pivotal role in creating and enhancing our market-leading Network Detection and Response (NDR) platform. In this position, you will focus on building intuitive, scalable, and responsive front-end features that empower security and engineering teams to quickly detect, investigate and mitigate threats. Key Responsibilities

  • Design and implement front-end features and interfaces that enhance the user experience for our platform.
  • Work closely with back-end developers, designers, and product teams to build customer centric cloud native solutions.
  • Develop high-quality code using TS and React while ensuring security, scalability and performance.
  • Contribute to a highly available and fault-resilient platform using best practices in front-end development and cloud architecture.
  • Foster a culture of innovation and collaboration, bringing fresh ideas and diverse perspectives to our engineering team.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field preferred
  • Excellent engineering chops
  • 3+ years of experience in front-end software engineering
  • Strong experience in TypeScript, React and front-end development frameworks
  • Solid knowledge of Go, Python, or an equivalent programming language
  • Self-starter mindset with a strong problem-solving track record and ability to grow and learn
  • Excellent communicator and collaborator who can iterate quickly

Desired skills

  • Experience around containers and related technologies (Kubernetes / Docker / HashiCorp - Packer, Vault, and Terraform)
  • Experience with building and scaling distributed, highly available systems
  • Experience with cloud services on AWS or Azure (EKS / RDS / S3 / SQS / EC2 / IAM)


$137,000 - $180,000 + bonus + benefits
