The Senior Training Specialist is responsible for delivery of digital intelligence training classes for law enforcement, government, and corporate students in various classroom settings around the world. This position will have a strong emphasis on delivering instructor-led and virtual courses. You will be responsible for classroom management and delivering synchronous web-based classes at a high level of proficiency to a broad commercial audience with varying levels of forensic skills, training, and abilities. Additionally, the Trainer/ Developer is responsible for facilitating with course development and producing high standard curriculum content based on best forensic practices. As an industry expert you may also support sales and services by engaging with prospects and existing clients at all points in the Cellebrite relationship as an ambassador of the Cellebrite brand.

Responsible:

  • Trainers are expected to spend approximately 50% of their time delivering digital intelligence classes for law enforcement, government, and corporate students in various classroom settings around the world annually.
  • Delivery of synchronous web-based training in a virtual environment, development and adaptation of instructor led material into formats suitable for virtual delivery.
  • Engage in post training activities to ensure the client training experience and relationship is maintained to an exemplary level.
  • Production of raw instructional material suitable for asynchronous learning platforms, such as, a Learning Management System (LMS) using industry standard tools.
  • Provide effective feedback to product management teams regarding customer and identified feature requests and bugs with the goal of developing better functioning and more useful products.
  • Engaging in self-managed professional development efforts to stay current in the digital forensics field and to stay up to date with best practices.
  • Participate as a member of professional organizations related to forensics investigation.
  • Assist in development of written and online evaluative instruments to effectively measure training outcomes, customer satisfaction, and instructor proficiency.
  • Development of data sets, tests, and examinations to support learning and skill measurement.
  • Complete reports, training records, and necessary documentation for maintaining training records.
  • Develop and deliver content that is engaging and effective for topical presentations at trade shows, conferences, and other events.
  • Occasionally complete administrative organizational & logistical tasks to facilitate training operation and equipment delivery.
  • Assist the Manager of Contract Trainers in administrative tasks necessary to ensure efficient and effective course delivery.
  • Subject Matter Expert. Demonstrates proficiency with all company hardware and software tools and methodology at an expert level to be able to provide credible and expert level training in support of company objectives.
  • Management of cost-effective travel arrangements: to facilitate necessary travel consistent with guidelines.
  • Preparation and timely submission of expense reports



Requirements

  • 4+ years of experience presenting and teaching forensic tools and methodology in a commercial, government, or academic setting or comensory experience in lieu of
  • 6-7 years of work-related experience in a digital forensic or high-tech investigations related field
  • BA or BS degree
  • Must hold a current Cellebrite CCME Certification
  • Must possess one or more of the following: industry standard forensic certifications: CFCE, BCERT (FLETC or NCFI), CCE or SANS Certification as a Forensic Examiner or Analyst. Tool specific certifications are considered a plus, including: EnCE, ACE, or specific Cellebrite Certification
  • Proficient with industry standard forensic tools and methodology.
  • Experience in conducting computer forensic and/or mobile device forensic investigation in criminal matters and testifying in courts of law about these digital examinations.
  • A working knowledge of relevant legal concepts: chain of custody; best evidence rule; plain view doctrine; search and seizure issues, at a practical level; and required levels of proof (such as: probable cause, beyond reasonable doubt, etc.)
  • An ability to obtain & maintain a valid passport and travel visas to allow entry into areas that require trainer services.
  • Must have and maintain a valid driver’s license.

Familiarity with: distance learning, LMS (preferred); Outlook, SharePoint, and Microsoft Office solutions.

Travel: travelling domestically and internationally - at times, traveling 60% during peak times. You will travel on weekends (or holidays) to ensure the timely delivery of scheduled classes and evaluation sessions. -An ability to maintain rigorous extended overnight domestic and international travel schedules, including air and car/ground transportation to get to and from scheduled engagement in varying weather conditions.

Home office specifications: ability to work remotely with adequate Internet bandwidth to support synchronous online delivery of web-based classes. “Home office” should be within a reasonable commute time to a commercial airport with direct connections to a major carriers’ hub airport.

Physical Requirements: This position requires the ability to occasionally lift large and heavy cases weighing approximately 100 lbs. from horizontal to vertical and rolling wheeled cases for short to moderate distances to facilitate deployment from delivery and storage points to classrooms and back to pick up points.
