Senior Software Engineer

This position is a hybrid role requiring employees to work from our headquarters location in Seattle, WA; or Atlanta, GA every Tuesday and Wednesday, and remote all other days.

As a Senior Engineer on the Core Agent Tools team, you'll join a passionate team, with tons of personality, working to build tools that make Redfin's lead agents the best agents in the industry. Our focus is two-fold: We build a platform that allows our teams to create tools that keep us ahead of a complex and fast-moving industry, while also building products to help our agents engage and retain Redfin customers.

The Role

• As a Senior Engineer, contributes across our Re-engagement and Retention strategy, using your experience in both front-end and back-end tools to allow our agents to deliver excellent service at every step of the way.
• Uses tools and technology across all layers of the development stack, from JavaScript, React and React Native to Java, Spring, Kafka and an array of AWS technologies to build engaging and intuitive web and mobile experiences.
• Leverages your technical architectural and product skills at the same time, by expanding a powerful Low Code platform that scales our engineering effort across the company.
• Owns a holistic CRM platform by leaning into React Native mobile development and mobile app management, as our team owns our Mobile Agent Tools app which ensures that our agents have all the necessary information on-the-go.
• Works closely with our product, program and ops partners to deliver features on-time and with high quality.

About You

• You are a developer with 4+ years of experience developing full-stack, customer-facing applications.
• You have a strong track record of delivering on complex, multi-person and cross-team projects across a variety of technical domains.
• You keep up with the ever-changing technical landscape used to efficiently build software - we use React and React Native, but often stretch beyond these bounds.
• You have experience being part of a team developing large scale apps backed by relational databases - we use Java, Spring, Hibernate, and Postgres.
• Have a Bachelor's+ degree in computer science (CS), engineering, or other related field.

The compensation information below is provided in compliance with all applicable disclosure requirements.

Base Pay Range: $146,500.00 - 198,000.00. Actual base pay will depend on varying circumstances, including the position, location, individual qualifications, market finances, and other operational business needs. Compensation may also include bonuses and equity.
