We’re looking for a Senior Product Manager, Safety, to join our Product team at Snap Inc.

What you'll do:

  • Develop the product vision, strategy, and roadmap for high impact safety and regulatory compliance product areas to increase trust and safety on Snapchat

  • Define goals and own performance against key business metrics for community safety and compliance, and proactively drive accountability towards those goals

  • Evolve continuously — constantly identify and size new opportunities to improve these features via data insights, user research, and design thinking.

  • Drive the team’s roadmaps and execution end-to-end — from planning processes to design to development and through launch, authoring excellent documentation and sharing insights and results throughout the company

Knowledge, Skills, Abilities:

  • Highly impact-focused, with a demonstrated history of leading teams to deliver concrete results

  • Detail oriented leader who can dive deep into every project on the team’s roadmap when needed

  • Outstanding communication skills and extremely comfortable conveying complex topics to a diverse array of stakeholders

  • Ability to navigate a complex product area and gain buy-in from executives 

  • Extremely proactive with the ability to initiate and implement complex projects with minimal guidance

  • Ability to collaborate and build trust with engineers, operations, data science and other cross-functional teammates

  • Ability to think creatively and approach problems with system-level thinking

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent years of experience

  • 5+ years of product management at a consumer or enterprise technology company

  • 2+ years of domain experience working in trust & safety, anti-abuse, or regulatory  compliance

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Hands on experience writing complex SQL, and doing descriptive and predictive analytics.

  • BA/BS in Computer Science or related fields

  • A passion for Snapchat!

Compensation

In the United States, work locations are assigned a pay zone which determines the salary range for the position. The successful candidate’s starting pay will be determined based on job-related skills, experience, qualifications, work location, and market conditions. The starting pay may be negotiable within the salary range for the position. These pay zones may be modified in the future.

Zone A (CA, WA, NYC):

The base salary range for this position is $209,000-$313,000 annually.


 

Zone B:

The base salary range for this position is $199,000-$297,000 annually.

Zone C:

The base salary range for this position is $178,000-$266,000 annually.

This position is eligible for equity in the form of RSUs.
