We are motivated individuals who tackle unique technical challenges at scale and solve them as a team. Together, we deliver innovative and ethical solutions that help businesses achieve their ambitions faster.

Why this role matters As a Senior Product Designer, you’ll play a pivotal role in shaping experiences across some of the most critical digital properties at Adyen. 1) The B2B portal, where customers set up business, manage their payment and financial products, handle reconciliation, access support, and grow their businesses; 2) the Back-office portal, which empower our internal teams to provide seamless and efficient customer support. Your mission will be to deliver a unified, best-in-class, end-to-end customer experience that helps Adyen's customers ramp up faster, reduce time-to-margin, and easily manage their businesses across our interfaces. This role is critical in driving innovation and ensuring scalability as we continue to evolve our product offerings.

What you’ll do

  • Take ownership of complex ecosystems and products by deeply understanding customer goals and aligning solutions with both business objectives and user needs.
  • Use data-driven insights to design simple, intuitive interfaces that exceed expectations, solve complex user problems, and drive impactful initiatives forward.
  • Proactively seeking opportunities to enhance design practices, elevate product quality, and drive impactful new initiatives that push the business forward.
  • Collaborate across teams to integrate feedback from cross-functional partners, driving strategic improvements and fostering an environment of continuous learning and collaboration.
  • Mentor and inspire other team members by setting new standards of design quality and driving knowledge sharing across the organization.
  • Document and share work strategically, ensuring transparency and alignment across teams.

This is you

  • A Bachelor or Master Degree in Interaction (Product) Design or related fields (including information design, conversational AI, etc), or equivalent experience.
  • Have 5+ years of experience designing complex hardware/software solutions, preferably in SaaS or B2B products, with a proven ability to simplify intricate workflows and enhance user experiences.
  • A strong sense of mission: Taking responsibility for the success of the company and our customers by setting high standards, taking ownership, and fostering collaboration.
  • Curiosity-driven growth: Maintaining curiosity and continuously seeking new insights and advancements. By taking thoughtful risks and learning from failures, we drive growth, adaptability, and meaningful innovation.
  • Thriving through uncertainties: Embracing new challenges and shifting landscapes with a positive outlook, we adapt swiftly and effectively. By staying flexible and proactive, we turn uncertainty into a driving force for sustained progress and meaningful results.
  • Action with intent: At the heart of design is solving meaningful problems—whether emotional, practical, or social. We focus on identifying what truly matters and crafting solutions that drive measurable business and user outcomes, avoiding iterations that fail to make a real impact.
