ROLE OVERVIEW
We are looking for an experienced Payroll Team Lead to join our Central Payroll team. The Team Lead is responsible for the supervision and coordination of payroll processing operations. The role requires comfort around nuance and change with a complex environment.
Compensation: $61,000 - $80,000/annually
RESPONSIBILITIES

Ensure accurate and timely payroll processing in compliance with LifeStance policies and in accordance with all federal/state/local regulations

Keep up on the latest regulatory changes that impact payroll and implement and validate systems and processes are updated accordingly

Run adhoc reports from the payroll system as needed to support business units cross functionally

Answering queries and fixing payroll issues

W2C processing
-
Amendments/ Qtr Adjustments
-
Assist with Quarter file reconciliations
-
Develop appropriate SOP’s and Job-Aids
-
Stock Release review and payroll runs
-
Payroll reconciliation files
-
Ability to identify process improvement opportunities and implement corrective actions/updates as needed
-
Other payroll operational projects and duties as assigned.

Reporting regularly to management.
SKILLS & EXPERIENCE
-
Bachelor’s degree in business management, business administration, or a similar field of study preferred
-
5+ years of multi-state and multi-entity payroll administration experience
-
Detailed knowledge of full payroll process including taxes, deductions, benefits, 401k, and federal/state regulations
-
Experience in healthcare industry preferred

Demonstrate strong Excel skills (vlookup, pivot tables, formulas, macros
-
Knowledge of ADP WorkforceNow preferred
-
Workday experience preferred

Proven analytics and problem-solving skills; ability to create adhoc reports from payroll system

Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills required
-
Exceptional organization skills and attention to detail
-
