  • Drive the transformation of the U.S. Business Analytics function by creating state-of-the-art analytic tools to propel business growth and market share. Provide regular updates in strategic planning meetings to ensure alignment with stakeholders.
  • Develop and scale AI/ML solutions to generate insights and address complex business challenges.
  • Build and implement best-in-class digital and brick-and-mortar analytics capabilities to deliver holistic omni-channel insights.
  • Build relationships with external experts and industry peers to maintain knowledge of technology advancements and trends
  • Assess the business problems to be solved and what internal or external data sources to use or acquire
  • Identify and establish the veracity of the external sources of information that are relevant to the operational needs of the enterprise
  • Apply your expertise in analysis of data with high volumes, velocities, and variety, including structured data (e.g., sales transactions), unstructured data (e.g., social media text), and sensor data. In addition, you will develop forward-looking, predictive, real-time, model-based insights to create value and drive effective decision making
  • Understand the identification, validation and exploitation of internal and external data sets generated from a diverse range of functional processes and in general you will be an expert in functional data and data sets
  • Data Science:
    • Develop predictive products leveraging machine learning methods, including regression, classification, decision trees, random forests, and gradient boosting models.
    • Explore deep learning methods (preferred) to expand the scope of predictive capabilities.
    • Design and analyze A/B testing experiments to optimize business strategies.
    • Apply clustering techniques to segment customers, shoppers, and markets effectively.
    • Leverage syndicated data (e.g., Nielsen, IRI, 84.51, Spins) to address business challenges.

    • Create scalable, innovative processes to meet the needs of a dynamic business environment.
    • Leverage cloud platforms (Azure, Google Cloud) and big data ecosystems (e.g., Spark, Snowflake, Databricks) to manage and analyze large, complex datasets.
    • Develop interactive dashboards using tools like Tableau or Power BI to enhance insights delivery.
  • Collaboration & Influence:
    • Partner with marketing and commercial teams to translate business needs into data-driven solutions.
    • Collaborate with cross-functional partners and senior leaders to influence decision-making.
    • Deliver impactful presentations that clearly communicate analytics insights and recommendations to diverse audiences

  • Advanced degree (Master's or Ph.D.) in Data Science, Statistics, Computer Science, or a related field.
  • Minimum 10 years of experience in relevant areas including Data Science, Data Analytics, Big Data, Cloud Computing, Machine Learning (time can include relevant degree studies)
  • Proficiency in Python, R, SQL, and advanced Excel techniques (e.g., Power Query, VBA, solver/optimizer).
  • Experience with big data tools and cloud platforms (Azure, Google Cloud).
  • Deep understanding of statistical techniques, including:
    • Regression and Classification: linear regression, logistic regression, support vector machines.
    • Tree-based Methods: decision trees, random forests, gradient boosting models.
    • Neural Networks and Deep Learning: neural networks, deep learning methods.
    • Clustering and Other Techniques: clustering (e.g., k-means), and other unsupervised learning methods.
  • High understanding of Databricks platform and Spark performance tuning
  • Proven experience of creating end-to-end Data Science solutions architectures including CI/CD, MLOps etc.
  • Knowledge of Tableau or PowerBI for dashboard creation.
  • Deep knowledge of Syndicated Data (IRI/Circana, Nielsen/NIQ, 84.51, Stackline, Spins, etc.).
  • Proven record of designing scalable Data Science solutions with expert understanding of architectural choices that need to be made
  • Understanding of the GenAI landscape, concepts, and techniques (e.g., Prompt Engineering, LLMs, SLMs, Transformers, RAG, Vector Databases, Fine-Tuning, Transfer Learning, Model Distillation, and Explainable AI)
  • Communication Skills:
    • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, with a proven ability to translate complex technical analyses into actionable business insights.
    • Strong presentation skills to engage senior leadership and cross-functional stakeholders.
  • Leadership & Collaboration:
    • Ability to lead projects with a focus on speed, scalability, and measurable outcomes.
    • Effective collaborator, building strong relationships with cross-functional teams in a matrixed environment.

For salaried roles based: The anticipated base salary range for this position is $133,900 - $184,150; the exact salary depends on several factors such as experience, skills, education, and budget. In addition to base salary, this position is eligible for participation in a highly competitive bonus program with possibility for overachievement based on performance and company results. (for Band I+ also include... and eligibility to participate in our long-term incentive program).
