T-Mobile Advertising Solutions (T-Ads), a fast-growing business unit within the Marketing, Innovation & Experiences division, is on a mission to tackle some of the most pressing challenges in the media and advertising industry.
We are looking for a high-performing, experienced Strategy & Planning professional to join our team. The Sr. Manager, Strategy & Planning will support and lead strategic and operational initiatives that enable effective decision-making and drive alignment across the leadership team. This role leads a high-performing team responsible for managing our operating rhythm, creating executive-level content, and advancing key strategic priorities. Success in this role requires exceptional business acumen, project management skills, discretion, and the ability to influence at all levels of the organization.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Lead and develop a high-performing Strategy & Planning team with strong strategic thinking capabilities. Provide mentorship and growth opportunities, while ensuring priorities align with business and leadership needs.
  • Own and drive the organization’s operating rhythm, including management of strategic agendas, leadership team scorecards, and key performance indicators.
  • Independently develop executive-level materials to support strategic initiatives and leadership forums, delivering compelling, insight-driven narratives.
  • Plan and manage key leadership meetings and off-sites, including agenda design, coordination of materials, facilitation support, and tracking follow-ups/action items across stakeholders.
  • Lead cross-functional initiatives from planning through execution—collaborating across teams to drive results on high-priority projects.
  • Support business opportunity evaluation, including industry trend analysis, customer segmentation, business case development, and go-to-market planning.

Education:

  • Bachelor's Degree Finance, Accounting, Business or related field (Required)
  • Master's/Advanced Degree MBA (Preferred)

Work Experience:

  • 7-10 years Professional Experience in the following areas:

Strategic Planning:

  • Progressive experience and leadership roles in corporate strategy, strategic planning, strategic operations, or other strategic roles
  • Expert at building executive level presentations for various audiences

Leadership:

  • Lead by example, mentor and develop a high-performing team.
  • Excels in fast-paced, evolving environments

Managing Ambiguity:

  • Comfortable leading in dynamic, complex settings with evolving priorities
  • Understanding of, and the ability to navigate in, large complex organizations.

Communication skills:

  • Strong executive presence
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills and the ability to communicate effectively internally, upward and cross functionally
  • Clear, concise communicator of complex ideas, strategies, and proposals

Cross-Functional Collaboration:

  • Skilled at building relationships across departments and levels
  • Proven ability to influence without authority

Quantitative Analytical Skills:

  • Advanced modeling and data analysis capabilities
  • Strong bias toward data-driven decision making

  • At least 18 years of age

Base Pay Range: $118,400 - $213,600

Corporate Bonus Target: 20%

The pay range above is the general base pay range for a successful candidate in the role. The successful candidate’s actual pay will be based on various factors, such as work location, qualifications, and experience, so the actual starting pay will vary within this range.

At T-Mobile, employees in regular, non-temporary roles are eligible for an annual bonus or periodic sales incentive or bonus, based on their role. Most Corporate employees are eligible for a year-end bonus based on company and/or individual performance and which is set at a percentage of the employee’s eligible earnings in the prior year. Certain positions in Customer Care are eligible for monthly bonuses based on individual and/or team performance.
