We are seeking a strategic and resourceful Senior Manager of Legal Operations to streamline and enhance our legal and sales operations functions. This role goes beyond traditional legal administrative tasks; we need a self-driven, highly organized professional with strong project management skills, vendor management expertise, familiarity with equity administration and cap table management, and a proactive approach to process improvement.


WHAT YOU'LL DO AT H1

As a Senior Manager of Legal Operations you will lead legal operations, contracting workflows, and project management related to the legal department focused on strong communication and prioritization. This is a high-impact role requiring an efficient operator who can design, implement, and own effective operations, partner with key stakeholders, and proactively improve workflows.


You will:

- Own and optimize contract lifecycle management (CLM), ensuring efficiency in contract generation, negotiations, and repository management.

- Establish and enforce contract review policies, risk mitigation strategies, and governance frameworks.

- Oversee legal ticketing systems and workflows, providing executive-level visibility into priorities and roadblocks.

- Facilitate the establishment of and implementation guidelines for pricing approvals, contract negotiations, and sales policy enforcement.

- Drive alignment between Salesforce administration, legal operations, and deal desk efficiency.

- Manage vendor contracting discussions, ensuring optimized contract evaluations, negotiations, and cost-saving initiatives.

- Develop a scalable project management framework for tracking legal requests, sales deal approvals, and compliance updates.

- Support in the management of equity administration and cap table management, ensuring accuracy and compliance with governance best practices 

- Support in the management of international entity governance, including corporate compliance, regulatory filings, and coordination with local counsel.

- Effectively communicate with internal and external stakeholders regarding the status, priority, and timing of ongoing projects.

- Identify key process inefficiencies and implement solutions that improve speed, accuracy, and compliance.

You are passionate about contract management, deal desk optimization, and cross-functional collaboration, ensuring legal and sales operations run seamlessly.


- You bring a proactive, problem-solving mindset and are always looking for ways to enhance workflows, reduce friction, and improve compliance. You enjoy working closely with Sales, Finance, and Legal teams, aligning priorities and ensuring operational excellence. You are comfortable making high-impact decisions, negotiating contracts, and providing data-driven insights to inform business strategy.

REQUIREMENTS

- 7+ years of experience in legal operations, sales operations, or deal desk management.

- Strong strategic mindset, with a track record of designing and optimizing legal & sales operations frameworks.

- Experience working cross-functionally with Sales, Finance, Legal, and executive teams.

- Expertise in contract negotiations, vendor management, and risk assessment.

- Expertise in cap table management and equity administration, including familiarity with platforms like Carta (or willingness to learn).

- Background in process automation and system optimization (e.g., implementing CLM or Salesforce enhancements).

- Exceptional stakeholder management, comfortable engaging with diverse perspectives to solve complex issues


COMPENSATION

This role pays $120,000 to $145,000 per year, based on experience, in addition to stock options.


Anticipated role close date: 04/14/2025
