The Role

Role Description

The marketing team is focused on the intersection across customer, product, and go-to-market (GTM). The team is responsible for setting and executing a unified marketing plan across segments and routes to market to drive growth, engage prospects and customers, craft effective messaging, and optimize performance across owned and paid marketing channels.

This is a unique opportunity for a seasoned integrated marketing campaign leader to build and manage a team of campaign managers focused on acquisition and expansion. This individual will not only lead integrated campaigns but also create the overall strategy and prioritization of GTM efforts based on focused customer personas and focused business objectives.

This leader will have a solid background in building and mentoring campaign teams to drive successful business outcomes. They will have the opportunity to dig their heels in and experiment with both B2B and B2C GTM efforts. The role will need to build strong cross-functional relationships in order to solve the complex needs of our current and prospective customers.

Responsibilities

  • Build an integrated campaigns team within the Dropbox Global Marketing organization
  • Manage and set priorities for the integrated campaigns team, working hand-in-hand with product marketing, product management, growth, Sales, Finance, Analytics, content marketing, and Marketing channel owners to ensure alignment across not only marketing but the entire Dropbox organization.
  • Define the overall strategy in which Dropbox will activate and optimize integrated campaigns that are aligned with Dropbox’s GTM strategy and Marketing’s objectives
  • Create playbooks to be able to launch and execute campaigns at scale
  • Identify when campaign goals are at risk and identify root causes and paths to remedy
  • Understand and distill our target audiences, their motivations, and perceptions, ensuring messaging and creative assets are optimized to best communicate customer needs.
  • Report and present on campaign progress and analysis to senior executives
  • Create quarterly and annual plans for integrated campaigns and gather alignment among cross-functional partners
  • Stay up to date on industry trends and communicate best practices throughout business
  • Partner with channel owners to identify optimization opportunities to ensure campaign plans are effective and efficient in achieving annual and quarterly goals while maximizing Marketing ROI and aligning with strategic priorities

Requirements

  • 8+ years of integrated marketing campaign experience
  • Must have B2B SaaS experience
  • 4+ years of leading an integrated marketing campaign team
  • Experience building an integrated campaigns team and developing talent in support of the organization’s goals 
  • Proven success of building and launching coordinated and scaled marketing campaigns contributing $100M+ ARR
  • Ability to review campaign data and create analysis to report to leadership and optimize accordingly 
  • Familiarity with data analytics tools and tracking and attribution methods
  • Comfortability speaking directly with customers for qualitative insights
  • Experience creating presentations and speaking to C-level executives 
  • Ability to notice risk to company goals early with access to data dashboards

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience working within a SaaS company 
  • Significant experience with executive communications, both written and verbal
  • Experience or strong partnership with B2B PMM, demand gen, and content strategy, planning, and ops
