Risepoint is seeking a Senior Director of Partner Brand Strategy to develop brand strategies, positioning and messaging for our university partners.  The Senior Director will partner with our Product Marketing, Partner Management, Research, and Channel teams to collect insights, map the competitive landscape, and deliver compelling brand solutions to our partners.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop a brand architecture and brand portfolio management framework to leverage across our partner accounts
  • Develop, test, and launch new brand strategy including pillars, positioning, and strategic messaging for our partners
  • Provide input into our creative briefs to ensure briefs are inspirational and student insights and key brand messages are captured
  • Map the competitive landscape and build differentiation across our partner portfolio through specific brand positioning and value props
  • Analyze and synthesize first-party data and research to develop partner-specific insights
  • Work with our research team to design research to identify student personas and targets for each of our partners
  • Stay informed on various market trends and the competitive landscape to ensure partners are positioned for growth leveraging new consumer and market trends
  • Provide feedback on creative campaigns and activations to deliver against partner value proposition, and brand voice and tone
  • Monitor and assess brand health, equity, and perception to refine brand strategies for our partners
  • Develop and refine methodologies for executing brand strategy initiatives, identifying and implementing process improvements.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing or related field required, master's degree preferred
  • 12+ years of experience as a brand planner or brand strategist for $300M+ consumer brands at an Agency
  • Experience developing brand architecture and brand portfolio strategies
  • Proven expertise in developing compelling messaging and strategic positioning
  • Experience providing strategic input to integrated marketing and communications campaigns and activations
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage and influence external partners and internal stakeholders.
  • Strong project management skills with the ability to oversee multiple initiatives simultaneously
  • Experience working with insights and drafting compelling market and brand narratives
  • Strong knowledge of research methodologies to develop segmentation and target personas
