Duties and Responsibilities:

This position supports the development of strategic and GSA/FEDSIM proposals as a proposal manager and content contributor, including supporting proposals as an oral proposal presentation developer. You will combine clear, strategic thinking with your project management skills and your dedication to compliance, to elevate solutions and approaches into proposal strengths and evaluated excellence. We are looking for a team-focused player who integrates and collaborates well with others, who can also work independently to coordinate projects, develop and learn new skills, and maintain communication with various stakeholders while working on multiple simultaneous projects. The primary responsibilities encompass proposal management and content development activities, sales material development, knowledge management, and research and analysis.

  • Support pursuit management team from opportunity identification through award

  • Collaborate with Capture and Solutioning team members to fully understand client desires and solutions and translate those into compelling proposal content

  • Develop a proposal management plan and manage to that plan

  • Manage and coordinate document control for files

  • Responsible for identifying, planning, and coordinating resource support.

  • Write and prepare pursuit support artifacts including white papers, presentations, and marketing collateral

  • Lead proposal development efforts to provide clear, compelling, and compliant written responses that incorporate win strategies

  • Lead oral proposal development efforts to provide clear, compelling, and compliant presentations, graphics, and scripts that incorporate win strategies win themes, and discriminators

  • Develop proposal schedules, outlines, color review documentation, kick-off documentation, and compliance matrices

  • Assess proposal content for integration and consistency of strategies, win themes, and discriminators across sections and volumes.

  • Work with graphics professionals to manage the development of high-quality and impactful proposal graphics and presentations

  • Collaborate with business and functional leadership for proposal support and direction

  • Support the archival of sales and proposal content

  • Perform all other duties as assigned

Qualifications and Skills Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree plus 9+ years of experience

  • Experience with large, complex government proposals (>$200M)

  • Strong work ethic with a willingness to work overtime on short notice

  • Strong project management skills in team facilitation, as well as managing resources and schedules

  • Excellent communication/presentation skills including exceptional persuasive writing skills

  • Must be willing to learn new skills, technologies, and adapt to changing needs

  • Superior organization and follow-through skills

  • Strong interpersonal skills and analytical ability

  • Motivation to identify problems, propose solutions, and act independently

  • Excellent business acumen

  • Ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously and adapt to changing priorities and assignments

  • Ability to lead and collaborate with a team, either as a project leader or in a support role

  • Ability to translate objectives into a schedule and activities to meet the requirements

  • Periodic travel (up to 25%) may be required

  • Proficiency with Microsoft 365 applications, including familiarity with SharePoint

  • Must be a US citizen

Desired:

  • Experience with FEDSIM proposals or other large (>$200M) opportunities

  • Experience with generative AI and large language models
