We are seeking a dynamic Product Marketing Manager to join our team to lead our marketing strategy for our Database and Data Engine offerings. This role is essential in shaping the positioning, messaging, and overall go-to-market strategy for our new suite of products. The successful candidate will work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure that our product solutions meet the market needs and exceed customer expectations. You will contribute to thought leadership, solution/product launches, and produce the content necessary for the VAST field organization and partners to drive opportunities. You should be customer obsessed, have a bias for action, and willingness to learn in a fast-paced environment.

THE ROLE



  • Own the development of creative and compelling content, including product documentation, videos, webinars, presentations, FAQs, sales sheets, and blog posts
  • Evangelize product/solution value proposition with key customers and partners
  • Orchestrate and provide leadership for GTM initiatives across entire marketing/sales team to drive effective campaigns 
  • Build product narratives and outbound messaging, partner with copywriters to bring messaging to life
  • Cultivate, define, own customer stories and value testimonials
  • Drive customer research to deepen understanding of user base and how to reach the target audience
  • Define targets KPIs and monitor, analyze, and report against them.



Requirements

  • 5+ years of product or solution marketing or similar experience, preferably in the field of BigData and/or HPC solutions.
  • Fluent in industry trends, terminology, concepts, and customer use cases for tools like Spark, Trino, Hadoop, Kafka, Cassandra, Tableau and others used to mine and leverage large volumes of data.
  • Background / working knowledge of key market trends in AI/ML and the emerging technologies around Generative AI with ability to attenuate value proposition and content to match relevant customer values and concerns.
  • Excellent written and oral communication/presentation skills including ability to create and deliver effective presentations.
  • Ability to build end-to-end plans and manage execution across cross-functional teams.
  • Collaborative – comfortable and motivated working in a collaborative environment, with the ability to build relationships with key stakeholders.
  • Experience defining and executing marketing programs and campaigns.
  • Capable of understanding and communicating to technical and business audiences
  • Ability to travel for industry conferences, customer visits, team offsites, and partner and sales meetings


NICE TO HAVE

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Business, Marketing, or related discipline
  • 5 years+ experience in software subscription or aaS sales/marketing to Enterprise or Service Provider customers.
  • MBA is not required, but preferred.
