PRODUCT MANAGEMENTWhat We Do

Product Management partners with game development, publishing, marketing, and platform teams to provide a data and market-driven view of product strategy that aligns with business goals. As part of Epic’s Growth Team, we use our product expertise to identify and drive growth levers to grow our player base and business.

What You'll Do

As a Product Manager at Epic you will be a vision holder for your team, collaborating with production, development, design and operations to build new products and services, processes and growth plans all in continuous alignment with a vision and strategic roadmap. You are responsible for driving better experience through disciplined analytics and experimentation with measurable goals. You will champion the vision and purpose of ‘WHY’ for existing products. This includes services, onboarding/activation/live operations, and optimization for all processes and governance.

In this role, you will

  • Own the initial user journey upon entry into the Epic Games Store, including both Discover and Browse experiences, with a goal of guiding users to the products they are looking for
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to identify inefficiencies in internal processes and build new tools to improve the ability to communicate important information to users
  • Own and champion key product health metrics as a part of driving prioritization decisions
  • Detail stories with use cases, dependencies, acceptance criteria and scope of features
  • Maintain a live backlog, balancing the needs of internal and external stakeholders
  • Work with dev leads to ensure alignment with roadmap, and make adjustments as necessary
  • Understand user behavior patterns & trends to identify emerging opportunities that can be turned into industry-changing features

What we're looking for

  • 3+ years of Product Management experience within software and technology platforms. UX Design familiarity, Merchandising, Gaming and Marketing experience a plus
  • Familiarity with Airtable, TargetProcess, ProductPlan, or other similar backlog management tools
  • Must be a strong team player who thrives in an agile environment with a continuous discovery and continuous delivery approach
  • Skilled at working effectively cross-collaborating with different teams; all across multiple time zones and countries
  • Must have strong problem-solving skills and a hands-on, proactive approach to getting things done
  • Demonstrate a strong ability to research, summarize, and prioritize customer business requirements effectively
  • Must possess excellent communication, presentation, collaboration, and leadership skills
  • Proven track record of driving measurable product growth
  • Demonstrable experience in identifying and driving user-facing improvements and reducing user friction
  • Experience with Tableau or other data reporting and analysis tools

This role is open to multiple locations across the US (including WA).

Pay Transparency Information

The expected annual base pay range(s) for this position are detailed below. Each base pay range is relevant only for individuals who are residents of or will be expected to work within the specified locale. Compensation varies based on a variety of factors, which include (but aren’t limited to) things such as skills and competencies, qualifications, knowledge, and experience. In addition to base pay, most employees are eligible to participate in Epic’s generous benefit plans and discretionary incentive programs (subject to the terms of those plans or programs).

Washington Base Pay Range

$125,000$184,000 USD
