Job Description
Bring your expertise to shape and enhance the journey of products from inception to our customers' hands. Mentor a dedicated team and lead key activities across the product life cycle, turning challenges into opportunities for continuous value and delivery.
As a Product Delivery Director in Payments Technology, you foster enhancements and optimize the way products are delivered to customers. As a leader on the team, you leverage your skillset to transform product delivery and create new ways for teams to continuously deliver value to their customers.
Job responsibilities

  • Directs principal activities across the end-to-end product delivery journey including intake, dependency management, release management, product operationalization, delivery feasibility decision-making, and product performance reporting, while highlighting opportunities to improve efficiencies and functional coordination
  • Owns the change management framework across functional partners and ensures adherence to the firm's risk, controls, compliance, and regulatory requirements
  • Maintains a high level of visibility over product timelines and dependencies while monitoring blockers, ensuring adequate resourcing, and liaising with stakeholders and functional partners
  • Coaches and mentors the product engineering team on best practices through collaborative discussions on resource management, dependency management, and deployment techniques to improve efficiencies
  • Navigates demand management and crafts product delivery plan
  • Negotiates with Product Owners, balancing their asks with feasibility, priority, dependencies, and technical debt
  • Enforces and participates in robust documentation
  • Works with engineers to explain requirements and answer questions; drives requirements and ideation as the functional subject matter expert; breakdowns requirements into tasks and create Jiras
  • Crafts a testing plan for each release, participate in the testing activities; enforces testing from upstream partners as part of the Definition of Ready
  • Owns the Snow process, deployment coordination and authorization
  • Releases notes and education to all stakeholders as the "Voice" of the Feature Team


Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills

  • 8+ years of experience or equivalent expertise delivering products, projects, or technology applications
  • Extensive experience leading operational management and change readiness
  • Experience in enterprise-wide release and deployment processes and strategies
  • Advanced knowledge of the product development life cycle, technical design, and data analytics
  • Strong Agile, Lean and Design Thinking and rapid prototyping skills
  • Technical expertise in BigData, reporting, analytics and AI space
  • Hands-on experience with data tools such as: SQL, Python, BI
  • Familiarity with relevant technologies such as: Databricks and AWS
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to craft polished presentations, articulate key messages to senior management and stakeholders, including contract commercial terms, commitments, and derived value
  • Expert problem-solving and analytical skills
  • Previous leadership experience of a Product Management team or organization


Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills

  • Recognized thought leader within a related field
  • Graduate degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business, Technical, Technology, Mathematics, Marketing, Economics, or Science
  • Experience in Payments or Fintech industry
  • Proven track record of building products that users enjoy
