The Global GTM Planning and Operations team at Cloudflare aims to support our high growth Sales organization through scalable and optimized GTM planning and operations. We focus on thoughtful planning of sales capacity, segmentation, territory carving, quota setting, and compensation design while ensuring clear rules of engagement for our Sales Team. Our goal is to establish a cohesive, consistent process framework that can support high growth and enable the Company's Strategy.
Role Summary
As the lead of Territory Operations you will design and manage Cloudflare's Salesforce Territory Management Framework. The overall vision for the GPS team is to drive world class Sales processes by effectively deploying territories to the Field roles, primarily AEs, setup automation of Account assignment into the Territories and establish a solid operations framework to ensure consistent operations with clear rules of engagement for Global Territory management.
You will be expected to collaborate closely with Regional sales operations team members, IT, and shared services to drive results and ensure alignment across the organization. Moreover you will be involved in facilitating and resolving territory/account ownership disputes and related processes and policies and training, enablement of the process and policy related to Territory management.
Key Responsibilities

  • Establish Territory management strategy, governance and plan
  • Execute the established plan and once implemented, be responsible for the day to day management.
  • Create a 3-year maturity model for Territory operations optimization.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure effective deployment of Territory operations.
  • Develop effective governance via policy, process training and effective communication and change management

Required Experience & Skills

  • 8+ years of experience in Territory Planning, and Design in a fast-paced tech company or as a consultant.
  • Expert level Salesforce functional and analytical skills with focus on territory planning, account assignment, carving management and data operations
  • Strong analytical and communication skills
  • Experience with Planning tools such as Fullcast, Salesforce, Varicent, Anaplan is key.
  • Proven experience working with cross-functional teams and driving enhancements.
  • Bachelor's degree required.


The ideal candidate will have expertise and passion in Salesforce data and territory operations maturity and is able and interested in hands-on operations engaged in designing, implementing and maintaining Salesforce territory planning.
