Job Title: Media Consultant

Compensation: $80,000 to $100,000

Adswerve is looking for a Media Consultant to join the Media Services team! The role is ideal for someone who is innately curious about data, media, and the "why" and "how" of digital media. The Media Consultant will collaborate with internal colleagues, external clients, and industry partners to drive media strategy, optimize campaigns, and deliver exceptional results. The ideal candidate will be a proactive, approachable, and self-starting media enthusiast with deep expertise in Google Marketing Platform (GMP) technologies, specifically CM360 (Campaign Manager) and SA360 (Search Ads).

Responsibilities

  • Develop a deep understanding of clients' business objectives and KPIs to align media strategies and recommendations with their marketing goals and tech stack.
  • Conduct strategic audits of client accounts to identify optimization opportunities, areas for growth, and technical improvements.
  • Create tailored media plans, trafficking documents, tagging toolkits, and campaign architecture setups, for CM360 and/or SA360 platforms.
  • Collaborate with Account Management, Sales, and support teams to present media service opportunities, upsell solutions, and drive additional revenue, providing a media lens to all clients.
  • Lead client engagements, including platform demos, strategic recommendations, services scoping, and onboarding new clients 
  • Provide expert guidance on bid strategies, value-based bidding, keyword recommendations, ad copy creation, audience strategy, offline to online data opportunities and tactical media planning.
  • Stay informed of industry trends and new product features, integrating them into strategic client recommendations and presenting to internal teams.
  • Develop best practices and processes to streamline identifying and executing growth opportunities for clients.
  • Collaborate with internal and external teams to create thought leadership content, including blog posts, whitepapers, webinars, and case studies.
  • Present insights and recommendations confidently during client calls.

Experience

  • 5+ years of media experience, with 3+ years of hands-on experience using GMP platforms (CM360, SA360).
  • Bachelor’s degree, Master’s degree, and/or relevant agency/brand experience and certifications.
  • Proven track record in planning, buying, and optimizing media campaigns to performance metrics.
  • Strong working knowledge of ad-serving technologies and programmatic/search platforms.
  • Exceptional strategic, analytical, and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent written and verbal presentation skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and prioritize requests effectively.
  • Strong interpersonal skills to build and maintain client and internal relationships.
  • Self-motivated and enthusiastic about achieving team and company objectives.

Preferred Experience

  • Hands-on experience with trafficking, UTM and Floodlight tag setup, and 3rd-party cookie readiness.
  • Technical knowledge of platform features, optimization techniques, and advanced pacing strategies.
  • Experience conducting floodlight audits and troubleshooting tag issues.
  • Knowledge of Google Ads vs. SA360 differences and ability to guide clients on tailored setups.
  • Understanding of Google Cloud, GA4/Adobe and GTM and how they fit into the GMP and client’s digital maturity.

This position pays a base salary of $80,000 to $100,000 per year. Wage differential is based on training and experience.
