Overview

About the Role

We are looking for an experienced analytics professional in lift measurement, attribution, advertising efficacy and data analytics to join our Measurement Science Team in Media Analytics. In this role, you will specialize in off-site ads measurement - from vendor research, strategy & measurement framework design to implementation and supporting sales teams demonstrate the value proposition.

With this role, you will have a unique opportunity to design and optimize innovative measurement solutions and act as a thought leader in areas where there are no standard solutions. You will be representing Instacart’s various measurement solutions internally and externally to our advertisers and agency partners. You will have the opportunity to work directly with the top CPG brands & Instacart’s advertising partners. This role will challenge you to not only provide strategic direction to our clients on their marketing efforts, but also build trust through partnership with our brand partners by delivering high quality insights and actionable recommendations. 

About the Team

The Measurement Science Team is our advertiser-facing team that uses experimentation and ad-hoc analytics to help our advertisers understand the effectiveness of their advertising spend. Measurement Science is one part of our broader Media Analytics team, whose mission is to leverage data to identify opportunity, accurately prove value and improve performance of Ads through impactful insights, strategic partnership and operational efficiency.

About the Job

  • Develop and deliver advertising effectiveness studies for our advertisers & agencies using internal & external measurement solutions.
  • Create data-driven measurement frameworks for new off site ad products to enhance & scale overall measurement narrative.
  • Collaborate with product, engineering, data science, and partnership teams to support go-to-market efforts for off-site ads in a consultative role.
  • Work with diverse teams across functions to promote the implementation of measurement practices by driving awareness, conducting training sessions, and leading other key initiatives.
  • Engage in client conversations & presentations of results; partner internally with cross functional specialist teams to advise on marketing best practices using evidence based insights.
  • Act as a trusted measurement advisor for cross-functional teams, offering guidance on measurement best practices.

About You

Minimum Qualifications

  • 4+ years of experience in ads measurement in the programmatic, social, connected TV (CTV) or Retail Media network (RMN) space.
  • In-depth knowledge of ad measurement landscape and familiarity with concepts like Attribution, Incrementality & Media Mix Modelling (MMM).
  • Hands-on data analysis experience with standard technical tools like SQL, R/Python as well as data visualization tools like Tableau & Mode.
  • Proven skill in integrating research, proprietary first-party data, and external insights into a unified and persuasive narrative.
  • Bachelor’s Degree in a quantitative field such as Engineering, Mathematics/Statistics, Finance, Economics, Business 
  • Proactive approach and the ability to manage multiple projects at the same time.
  • A demonstrated ability to communicate nuanced data-driven insights to a range of audiences and build/influence client relationships.

  • Bachelor’s Degree in a quantitative field such as Engineering, Mathematics/Statistics, Finance, Economics, Business
