About Conserv
At Conserv, we empower museums and cultural institutions to protect irreplaceable collections through innovative environmental monitoring. Over the past six years, we’ve grown from a small startup to serving over 250 institutions—from local history museums to the Smithsonian—by combining deep heritage preservation expertise with modern technology. We tackle real-world challenges for conservators and collection care professionals, and we’re looking for a Growth Marketing Lead who’s excited to help us amplify our mission.

The Role
As our Marketing Lead, you’ll own the execution of all marketing initiatives. This is a hands-on role where you’ll design marketing campaigns, create and distribute content, measure performance, and continually optimize to fuel our company’s growth. Working closely with our small, passionate team, you’ll have a direct impact on shaping how we reach and engage with preservation professionals around the world.

What You’ll Do

  • Design and implement marketing strategies: From top-of-funnel awareness to customer engagement, you’ll own the end-to-end marketing plan.
  • Build and execute engagement campaigns: Develop campaigns that nurture prospects into customers and keep existing users excited about our solutions.
  • Create compelling content: Craft articles, newsletters, product updates, and more to educate and resonate with cultural heritage professionals.
  • Manage our digital presence: Manage our website, social channels, and SEO efforts, ensuring consistent brand messaging and user-friendly experiences.
  • Coordinate events and partner marketing: Plan and execute webinars, virtual events, conferences, and co-marketing efforts with industry partners.
  • Track performance and optimize: Implement marketing analytics (e.g., HubSpot, Google Analytics) to measure success and refine strategies.
  • Work resourcefully: As our primary marketing expert, you’ll creatively maximize impact with limited resources.

What You’ll Need

  • 3-5 years of B2B marketing experience, ideally involving technical or SaaS products
  • Proven success building marketing programs that drive revenue and pipeline
  • Proficiency with marketing platforms (HubSpot, WordPress, Google Analytics, etc.)
  • Excellent writing and communication skills, with an eye for detail
  • Experience managing budgets and prioritizing resources effectively
  • A self-starter mentality with the ability to work independently and tackle challenges head-on
  • Bonus: graphic design experience or comfort using graphic design tools
  • Bonus: Familiarity with museum or cultural institution audiences

Who You Are

  • You excel in startup or fast-paced environments where you can chart your own path
  • You’re equally comfortable mapping big-picture strategy and rolling up your sleeves for execution
  • You adapt quickly when priorities shift, remaining organized and focused on outcomes
  • You take pride in high-quality work but know when done is better than perfect
  • You’re inspired by a mission-driven company dedicated to protecting cultural heritage
  • You bring ideas, curiosity, and a willingness to learn from our customers and team

Why Join Conserv?

  • Remote-first culture: Work flexibly from anywhere in the U.S.
  • Competitive compensation: We offer a strong salary and benefits package.
  • High-impact role: You’ll shape our marketing from the ground up and directly influence growth.
  • Mission-driven work: Collaborate with a team that’s passionate about preserving humanity’s cultural treasures.
  • Unique connections: Engage with world-renowned museums, cultural institutions, and heritage professionals.

The Details

  • Location: Remote (U.S.-based)
  • Employment Type: Full-time

We’re a growing company doing meaningful work to preserve cultural heritage. If you’re excited to lead and elevate our marketing efforts, we’d love to hear from you!

What you need to know about the Seattle Tech Scene

Home to tech titans like Microsoft and Amazon, Seattle punches far above its weight in innovation. But its surrounding mountains, sprinkled with world-famous hiking trails and climbing routes, make the city a destination for outdoorsy types as well. Established as a logging town before shifting to shipbuilding and logistics, the Emerald City is now known for its contributions to aerospace, software, biotech and cloud computing. And its status as a thriving tech ecosystem is attracting out-of-town companies looking to establish new tech and engineering hubs.

Key Facts About Seattle Tech

  • Number of Tech Workers: 287,000; 13% of overall workforce (2024 CompTIA survey)
  • Major Tech Employers: Amazon, Microsoft, Meta, Google
  • Key Industries: Artificial intelligence, cloud computing, software, biotechnology, game development
  • Funding Landscape: $3.1 billion in venture capital funding in 2024 (Pitchbook)
  • Notable Investors: Madrona, Fuse, Tola, Maveron
  • Research Centers and Universities: University of Washington, Seattle University, Seattle Pacific University, Allen Institute for Brain Science, Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation, Seattle Children’s Research Institute
