Description

Resource Innovations is seeking an experienced Marketing Account Lead to support our Commercial and Industrial Energy Efficiency Programs on our growing team in Chicago. In this role, you will lead in managing project tasks, developing creative ways to engage utility customers and encourage participation in energy efficiency programs, and work closely with our marketing, program and outreach teams, helping to execute marketing plans and campaigns that reach diverse customer groups.

As a Marketing Account Lead, you'll support Energy Efficiency utility programs, gaining hands-on experience in large commercial and industrial energy efficiency efforts. In close collaboration with the Marketing Principal, engineering and a team of other marketing, communications and graphic design professionals, you'll develop project plans and lead daily tasks to keep marketing plans and tactical calendars on track. Success in this role requires strong client management skills, attention to detail, organization and project management experience. You'll also play a key role in planning and managing events—such as presentations, webinars and kickoff events—and in compiling data for post-event reports. You're someone who thrives in a collaborative setting and enjoys working with a team to achieve shared goals. 

The successful candidate will have a minimum of 5-6 years marketing experience. Agency experience is preferred. Duties and Responsibilities

  • Production of Marketing Materials - works with the marketing, engineering and program teams to coordinate the production of marketing materials, monitoring the status of deliverables for assigned projects
  • Managed Project Tasks - Is responsible for tracking project milestones, deadlines and deliverables, helping to ensure timely completion of marketing initiatives in the project management system
  • Event Coordination - provide logistical and remote & on-site support for events, such as webinars, presentations and case study video shoots, ensuring a smooth and successful experience for those involved
  • Assist with Data and Reporting - help compile and organize data related to campaigns and events, preparing reports in Excel or data visualizations to track and measure marketing activities and effectiveness
  • Collaborate with Teams - work closely with internal teams and external stakeholders, contributing to cross-functional projects and ensuring alignment on marketing activities
  • Other duties as assigned.
Requirements
  • Located in or willing to relocate to the greater Chicagoland area within 30 days of acceptance
  • Bachelor's degree (BBA, BA or BS) in Marketing, Business, Communications or a related field/equivalent experience required
  • Minimum 3-5 years of professional experience in marketing, communications, project management and client management
  • Basic proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook/Teams, SharePoint/OneDrive)
  • Ability to quickly learn and utilize new tools and technologies, including project management and email marketing platforms (experience with Wrike and Campaign Monitor or similar systems is a plus)
  • Experience leading client meetings and providing status reports
  • Strong attention to detail and organization skills
  • Effective written and verbal communications skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
  • Primarily Remote position with the ability and expectation to travel locally within the Chicagoland area up to 10% of the time, mainly for in-person events
  • Interest in sustainability and passionate about making a meaningful impact on the environment.

The compensation range for this exempt position is $70,000 - $85,000. The stated range is based on a good faith estimate of the compensation range for the duties, responsibilities and skills / experience required for the position. Starting pay will be dependent on experience, internal equity and location. This range may be exceeded for well-qualified candidates, especially with industry experience.
