The Head of Advertising and Performance Marketing is responsible for developing and executing an integrated advertising strategy that drives brand and revenue growth through both creative storytelling and data-driven performance initiatives. This role leads a cross-functional team to design, implement, and optimize multi-channel campaigns across global markets. In addition, the role will build a Center of Excellence (CoE) to foster best practices, innovation, and agility—supporting campaigns focused on pipeline creation while ensuring responsiveness to evolving market dynamics.

What you’ll do as the Head of Advertising and Performance Marketing at Vanta:

  • Develop and implement a comprehensive advertising and performance marketing strategy aligned with overall business objectives and tailored for diverse global regions.

  • Lead a diverse team of global advertising professionals, including digital marketers, sponsorship media buyers and webinar marketers.

  • Build a Center of Excellence (CoE) to ensure consistency in strategy and execution across regions.

  • Utilize advanced analytics tools and performance metrics to refine targeting, messaging, and budget allocation for optimal campaign outcomes.

  • Manage and allocate advertising budgets efficiently, ensuring maximum impact and ROI across channels.

  • Stay current with industry trends, emerging technologies and best practices to continually evolve the advertising strategy.

How to be successful in this role:

  • Minimum 10+ years of experience in advertising, digital marketing, or performance marketing.

  • Experience in buying diverse media formats such as podcasts, TV, newsletters, paid social, paid search and working with influencers. 

  • Proven track record of driving measurable revenue and pipeline growth through integrated, multi-channel advertising campaigns.

  • Strong leadership skills with experience managing cross-functional teams.

  • Excellent strategic, analytical, and communication skills.

  • Demonstrated ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with global responsibilities.
