As a product marketer at Vanta, you’ll help bring this vision to life by defining the new category of trust management, shaping Vanta’s positioning and differentiators externally, and influencing our product and business roadmap. We sit at the intersection of Marketing & Demand Generation, Sales, Product, and Customer Success and revel in connecting all of these teams to drive the business forward. The Group Product Marketing Manager will focus on launching Vanta’s next generation of security tools to our 9,000+ customers, who are a critical audience and channel for Vanta’s growth. You will partner closely with our product team, post-sales team, and broader product marketing team to craft compelling messaging to take our product and brand story to the next level. 

What you’ll do as a Group Product Marketing Manager at Vanta:

  • Define and manage go-to-market (GTM) strategy for Vanta’s customers, including messaging, positioning, launch planning, GTM enablement content for our post-sales team

  • Plan and execute campaigns to promote our products (new and existing) to our customers, report back on performance, and optimize our launch processes for scale

  • Partner with our post-sales team (customer success and account management) to develop up-sell and expansion sales plays 

  • Author compelling content for each stage of the customer journey, from blog posts to sales collateral

  • Talk regularly to Vanta’s customers, analyze your own data, and understand our competitive landscape to help shape the product strategy and roadmap and inform Vanta’s overall expansion marketing strategy

  • Build relationships with every team at Vanta—product management, demand gen, sales, design, customer success, and engineering—to define our customer segments and deliver effective communications, from everyday emails to major launches

  • Refine Vanta’s pricing and packaging based on deep insights around the market, our product value, and customer needs in partnership with finance, operations, product, sales, and customer success 

  • Be a strong customer champion, creative marketer, and problem solver

How to be successful in this role:

  • Have 7+ years of Product Marketing experience, with an emphasis on B2B SaaS

  • Have a deep empathy for users and an ability to adapt communication to best reach, engage and differentiate Vanta to your audience

  • Enjoy working with data and pairing those quantitative conclusions with the qualitative conversations you have with users

  • Find delight in understanding how things work and then explaining your newfound knowledge to others
