The role:

As Newsela’s Field & Account-Based Manager, you are responsible for the end-to-end strategy and execution of regional programs, ABM campaigns, and regional marketing events. You’ll partner closely with Marketing, Sales, and Customer Success team stakeholders to drive demand, growth, and engagement for Newsela and work directly with the Field Marketing Coordinator.


You will:

  • Lead the strategy and proactive quarterly planning of our field marketing activations across channels to achieve both marketing- and rep-sourced pipeline targets for Newsela
  • Execute on a comprehensive field marketing plan to drive leads and accelerate sales opportunities aligned with Sales and Success teams
  • Stay informed on the latest trends and opportunities by researching state initiatives, ABM strategies, event concepts, experiential ideas 
  • Track ROI, engagement, and feedback to measure results, assess opportunities for improvement, and optimize future field marketing programs, events, and sponsorships
  • Create and maintain relevant field marketing playbooks, including GTM plays, operating processes, and templates for customization 
  • Partner with Demand & Customer Marketing leads to implement engaging and effective messaging across campaign channels that can be tailored to regions and state-specific plays
  • Partner with creative, content, channel and operational team members on content, campaign and channel effectiveness 
  • Partner with Sales on campaigns, follow-up strategies, enablement and lead management reporting

  • You are a creative and out of the box thinker that wants to execute on event and localized experiences that stand out from a packed conference agenda
  • You are comfortable with ambiguity and have the ability to move forward in this environment


Base compensation: $80,000 - $92,000. Total compensation for this role also includes incentive stock options and benefits.
