This is a hybrid role based in one of our four hubs: Ann Arbor, Michigan, Los Altos, CA, Tysons Corner, VA, or Kirkland, WA. 

Role Summary:

As the Senior Director of Demand Generation, you will drive integrated marketing strategies that fuel our growth pipeline and expand our market presence. Reporting directly to the Chief Growth Officer (CGO), you will lead the development and execution of innovative, data-driven digital campaigns across both paid and organic channels to generate high-quality leads and accelerate our sales funnel. This role requires a strategic thinker with a deep understanding of the cybersecurity landscape, B2B SaaS marketing, integrated marketing, and a proven ability to lead teams to achieve measurable results. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to align and orchestrate digital marketing initiatives with overall business objectives, ensuring that our brand continues to lead in a competitive market.

What You’ll Do:

  • Develop and Execute Demand Generation Strategy: Lead the creation and execution of comprehensive demand generation strategies that drive qualified leads and accelerate the sales pipeline, with a strong focus on both traditional and Account-Based Marketing (ABM) approaches.
  • Campaign Management: Oversee the planning, development, and execution of multi-channel campaigns, including digital marketing, content marketing, email marketing, webinars, and industry events. Ensure these campaigns are data-driven and aligned with overall company objectives.
  • Lead Nurturing and Conversion: Implement and optimize lead nurturing programs to improve conversion rates, delivering high-quality MQLs (Marketing Qualified Leads) to the sales team.
  • Performance Analysis: Regularly monitor, analyze, and report on campaign performance, providing insights and recommendations for continuous improvement and maximized ROI.
  • Team Leadership: Build, mentor, and lead a high-performing demand generation team. Foster a culture of innovation, collaboration, and continuous learning.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with Sales, Product Marketing, Content, and other cross-functional teams to ensure alignment between demand generation efforts and broader company goals.
  • Budget Management: Manage and optimize the demand generation budget, ensuring cost-effective strategies that align with growth targets.
  • Technology and Tools: Leverage marketing automation platforms (e.g. Marketo), CRM systems (e.g., Salesforce), and other tools such as Google Analytics and Google Ads to enhance lead generation, tracking, and reporting.

What You’ll Bring:

  • Experience: 10+ years of experience in demand generation, growth marketing, or digital marketing, preferably within the B2B SaaS or cybersecurity industry.
  • Leadership: Demonstrated success in building and scaling demand generation teams and strategies on a global level. Ability to balance strategic oversight with hands-on execution.
  • Analytical Skills: Strong analytical and quantitative skills with a data-driven approach to optimizing marketing strategies and campaigns.
  • Technical Proficiency: Expertise in using marketing automation and CRM platforms to drive and measure demand generation initiatives.
  • Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to clearly present complex data and strategies to executive leadership.
  • Strategic Vision: Ability to think strategically while executing tactically, with a focus on driving measurable outcomes.

Our target salary range for this role is between $175,000 USD and $200,000 USD + bonus eligibility and equity.

Our roots are in Ann Arbor, Michigan with location hubs in Seattle, the Bay Area, and Washington D.C. Our innovation is fueled by the team’s global perspectives. For this role, we are looking for candidates based in one of our four hub locations: Seattle, WA, Los Altos, CA, Washington, DC, or Ann Arbor, MI and will be required to go into the office on Tuesdays, Thursdays and a third day of choice.
