About the Role:

We’re looking for a Head of Strategic Growth and Partnerships to build a new go-to-market motion within Remitly. The Head of Strategic Growth and Partnerships will play a dual role in establishing sales-driven growth and long-term strategic partnerships. This involves developing the strategy for both partnerships and product commercialization, as well as sourcing deals that drive significant customer growth for Remitly. You will lay the foundations for building and scaling the team.

You Will:

  • Develop and execute a partnership and product commercialization strategy.
  • Prove the value for Remitly to drive incremental investments.
  • Establish and grow a high-performing team, defining roles and hiring top talent.
  • Identify, negotiate, and launch partnerships that support customer acquisition, retention & revenue goals.
  • Work with internal teams, including product, marketing, and legal, to ensure successful partnership execution.
  • Monitor and evaluate partnerships using key metrics, driving improvements for mutual success.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with partners to ensure long-term success.

You Have:

  • 10+ years in business development, strategic partnerships, or channel sales in technology or FinTech.
  • Ability to lead and scale teams, with a track record of building high-performing partnership organizations.
  • Demonstrated success in structuring, negotiating, and closing complex partnership agreements that drive business growth.
  • Ability to influence stakeholders across all levels and functions.
  • A self-starter who thrives in a fast-paced environment, navigates ambiguity with ease, and focuses on delivering measurable business results.
  • Open to traveling as needed to develop and manage partner relationships.
  • Bachelor's degree required; MBA or equivalent advanced degree.

Compensation Details. The starting base salary range for this position is typically $184,000-$207,000. In the U.S., Remitly employees are shareholders in our Company and equity is part of our total compensation plan.
