We are seeking a Compensation Contractor to help support the building of an internal Compensation strategy. This will likely be a 3-month assignment.  

 

  1. Support Compensation Strategy Implementation:
  • Assist in building overall compensation strategy company-wide that aligns with company’s business objectives, market competitiveness and retention, including options, cash LTIP, base, bonus potential.  
  • Update current bands and grades across org.  

 
      2. Market Analysis:

  • Conduct market analysis to ensure compensation packages are competitive and aligned with industry standards. 
  • Build reports and presentations based on market data. 

 
      3. Collaboration and Compliance:

  • Work closely with people, finance and other departments to ensure alignment and compliance with compensation strategies. 
  • Assist with preparation of materials for the Compensation Committee and Board of Directors, ensuring compliance with all relevant laws and regulations, including tax and securities regulations. 


      4. Regulatory Support:

  • Assist in preparing and reviewing executive compensation disclosures for regulatory filings and shareholder communications. 

 

      5. Team Support:

  • Support the team responsible for administering equity compensation programs across the organization. 
  • Collaborate with senior team members to define the strategic direction for equity plans, including LTIP and stock options. 

 

      6. Compliance and Other Duties:

  • Ensure compliance with all applicable laws and regulations. 
  • Perform other duties as assigned. 

 

Experience 

  • 10+ years of experience in building compensation programs both at executive and staff level at a private equity backed company with a strong understanding of compensation principles and practices required.  
  • Private equity experience required.  
  • Strong presentation building skills.  
  • Strong analytical skills and experience with compensation data analysis and reporting. 
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills. 
  • In-depth knowledge of relevant laws and regulations related to executive compensation. 
  • High level of integrity and ability to handle sensitive and confidential inform 

 


Pay Range: $80-$95 per hour 

Base pay offered may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. This information is provided per CA SB 1162 (“CA Pay Transparency Law”). Base pay information is based on market location. Learn more about ecoATM benefits here.

This position may also be eligible for short-term and long-term incentives based on individual and company performance.
