Associate Director, Sales Enablement
Business Unit:Global Distribution Operations
Salary Range:$130,000 USD - $150,000 USD
Specific compensation will be based on candidate’s experience, skills, qualifications, commercial considerations, and other job-related factors permitted by law. At Russell Investments, salary is just one part of our compensation package. Job Description:
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Sales Enablement associate to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and implementing a comprehensive sales enablement strategy across our global Go-To-Market (GTM) teams across both institutional and Adviser channels. This role requires strategic planning and strong execution experience across multiple teams. with a strong background in sales, marketing, and data analysis and has experience in large transformation initiatives and driving adoption of CRM and data driven capabilities in sales and client teams.
Key Responsibilities:
- Sales Enablement Strategy - Determine sales enablement priorities with sales including areas to increase quality and efficiency of sales processes through technology adoption, data driven campaigns and ensuring the team is well equipped with access to the right resources and supported with relevant training.
- Be a key driver of technology transformation initiative in partnership with the project team and key stakeholders. This includes designing an engagement focused adoption program of new and updated systems and processes with measurable success metrics. Ongoing, this role will drive technology enabled sales programs and drive adoption of sales technology to improve sales process (eg CRM, LinkedIn Sales Navigator, Seismic, etc).
- Developing our data driven sales capability and processes. Includes driving data driven sales campaigns. Develop and use of data analytics to assess sales productivity and areas of focus for sales management. Contribute to development of a 360-degree view of clients and prospects, enabling the sales team to more efficiently research prospects and improve quality of sales engagement through more personalised approach.
- Develop sales campaigns frameworks in partnership with Institutional and Adviser sales teams. This includes developing lead initiatives and sales campaigns processes and tracking in partnership with Sales and Marketing teams. Work with our Gen-AI and data teams to identify and curate data driven insights and how we get them into the hands of our sales team in an effective and measurable way.
- Maintaining a strong foundation of training and access to resources: Ensure the sales teams are equipped to be successful with training programs and the right resources. This includes a hands on approach to developing and manage sales training programs, including onboarding for new hires and continuous development for existing team members.
- Be a valued partner across sales and marketing teams – Be a trusted partner to sales leadership to drive and measure improved sales outcomes. Build strong relationships and understand the needs of sales associates. Act as a key conduit between sales, marketing, technology product and other teams across the business.
Skills:
- Proven experience in sales enablement, sales, or a related field and understanding of sales processes and methodologies
- Ability to design and analyze data and make data-driven recommendations or decisions.
- Experience in creating and managing training programs.
- Proficiency in SharePoint customization and scheduling tools (e.g., Microsoft Teams, Outlook).
- Proficiency in Sales related technology including Seismic, CRM (Dynamics or Salesforce)
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, particularly in coordinating with various stakeholders.
- Time management and organizational skills; managing multiple responsibilities and changing priorities and managing to timelines
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills and strong stakeholder engagement and partnership across multiple teams and business units.
- Experience in engaging and working with senior leadership, developing and communicating strategic plans and managing execution.
