Job Description:
The Adaptive Planning Business Intelligence Analyst will be responsible for supporting the on-going maintenance of managerial reports and dashboards along with supporting annual forecasting events (current year re-forecasts, annual budget, and 5-year projections)
While supporting the current process, they will work with the Business Intelligence team to automate and simplify processes through the usage of technology. This position will leverage the analytic and financial managerial reporting skills of a Financial Analyst along with Business Intelligence, technical and automation skills and experience.
What You'll Do:
- Lead Financial Forecasting: charge of enabling the process of financial forecasting, including current-year forecasts, annua budgets, and 5-year projections, ensuring accuracy and reliability.
- Optimize Adaptive Planning: Collaborate with business units to maximize the use of Adaptive Planning across the enterprise, making it an indispensable tool for all functions.
- Streamline Finance Applications: Partner with IT and business product owners to enhance our finance application portfolio, eliminating redundancies and reducing costs.
- Drive Executive Insights: Create impactful monthly and quarterly Executive and Board Reporting packages that inform our leadership's strategic decisions.
- Innovate with Technology: Lead the development of Adaptive Planning functionality, including financial modeling, data integrations, dashboard creation, and scenario analysis.
- Educate and Empower: Train non-financial stakeholders on interpreting reports and dashboards, empowering them to make informed decisions.
- Mentor and Grow: Guide and mentor team members, fostering a culture of continuous learning and improvement.
- Travel: Occasional travel to collaborate with teams and stakeholders.
What You'll Bring:
- Technical Experience: Advanced skills in Workday/Adaptive Planning, including configuration, building models, reports, dashboards, and data integrations within Workday Adaptive Planning.
- Analytical Excellence: Strong business process knowledge, accounting expertise, and proficiency in Microsoft Excel.

Preferred Qualifications:
- Tech Savvy: Experience with financial budgeting and planning as well as consolidation, data warehousing, and dashboarding.
- Comprehensive Understanding: Develop a complete understanding of Vertex reporting and business communications.
- Communication Skills: Ability to listen, understand, and effectively communicate information.
- Organizational Skills: Possess strong organizational skills and proficiency in Microsoft Office packages.
Education and Experience:
- Educational Background: Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Intelligence, Computer Science, or a related field.
- Extensive Experience: Over 10 years in corporate finance and/or business intelligence, with at least 5 years working with business applications like Salesforce and Workday/Adaptive.
- Proven Track Record: Demonstrated success in managerial reporting and business intelligence technologies.
