Web Performance ManagerOverview

We are looking for an experienced and dynamic Web Performance Manager to oversee the performance of our Rubrik website. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring our website is optimized for search engines, conversion rate, analytics, and overall user experience. This role will require extensive collaboration with both the web production and web development teams, leveraging their development experience to drive improvements and innovations. This position will report into our HQ office in Palo Alto, CA. 

Key Responsibilities

  • SEO / GEO Management: Develop and implement continuous effective search engine optimization (SEO) strategies to improve our website's visibility on major search engines / generative search engines (GEO) and drive organic traffic.
  • Conversion Rate Optimization (CRO): Analyze data to identify areas for improvement in visitor conversion rates, design and run A/B tests, and implement results to continually enhance site performance. Embrace an "always be testing" mentality to ensure ongoing optimization.
  • Web Personalization: Develop and implement strategies for web personalization to deliver tailored experiences to users based on their persona, behavior and preferences, increasing engagement and satisfaction.
  • Web Analytics: Utilize web analytics tools to monitor and report on web performance metrics, including campaign URL tracking, and make data-driven decisions to optimize user engagement and site performance.
  • Visitor Experience: Ensure a seamless and intuitive user experience for visitors, effectively balancing content presentation, usability, and functionality.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with the web production and web development teams to implement changes and improvements quickly and efficiently, with a bias toward action.
  • Communication: Regularly communicate web performance updates, insights, and improvements to the marketing organization, ensuring alignment and transparency in our strategies and outcomes. As a great communicator, convey complex information clearly and effectively.
  • Web Development: Leverage your web development background to better understand and communicate technical challenges and solutions with the development teams, ensuring that performance tweaks and new features are deployed smoothly.
  • Compliance: Maintain an in-depth knowledge of GDPR and other privacy laws to ensure website compliance and protect user data.

QualificationsEducation & Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Marketing, Communications, or a related field.
  • 7+ years of proven experience as a Web Performance Manager, Web Developer, SEO Specialist, or a similar role.
  • Self-proficient and motivated, with a demonstrable ability to work independently and drive projects to completion.

Technical Skills:

  • Strong knowledge of HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and other web development languages.

  • Excellent proficiency with Adobe Experience Manager (AEM).

  • Proficiency with SEO tools (e.g., SEMrush, Moz).

  • Experience with A/B testing and CRO tools (e.g., Adobe Target).

  • Familiarity with web analytics and data reporting tools (e.g., Adobe Analytics).

  • Experience with web personalization tools and techniques to create customized user experiences and journeys.

  • Experience with utilizing CRM  (SFDC) and campaign tracking to attribute web performance to MQLs, Meetings, Pipeline and Revenue

Analytical Skills:

  • Ability to analyze data and user feedback to identify issues and areas for improvement.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and keen attention to detail.

Communication Skills:

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to present findings and recommendations clearly to stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
  • Able to translate performance data into insights for leadership and cross-functional teams.

Preferred Additional Experience:

  • UX design principles and tools.
  • Experience working in agile project management environments

The minimum and maximum base salaries for this role are posted below; additionally, the role is eligible for bonus potential, equity and benefits. The range displayed reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hire salaries for the role based on U.S. location. Within the range, the salary offered will be determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.

US Pay Range

$138,200$207,300 USD
