The IT Compliance Specialist is responsible for designing and managing IT internal controls and global IT risk management frameworks for group companies. This role includes ensuring compliance with ISO 27001, SOC2, and other regulatory standards, as well as supporting IT audits, information security certifications, and public disclosures. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical and communication skills to identify and mitigate IT risks, propose actionable improvements, and collaborate effectively with global teams.

What you'll be doing:

• Design and manage IT internal controls for group companies, including compliance with ISO 27001 and SOC2 standards.
• Establish and operate global IT risk management frameworks to ensure alignment with regulatory and industry requirements.
• Lead responses to IT audits, information security certifications, and public disclosures for group companies.
• Collaborate on information security activities and provide guidance on compliance best practices.
• Support the development and implementation of processes to enhance IT compliance and risk management initiatives.

What we're looking for:

• Diploma or degree in Computer Science, IT, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
• Experience with IT internal controls (e.g., SOC audits, ITGC assessments) or IT system development and operations.
• Strong understanding of IT infrastructure, program development, and compliance frameworks (ISO 27001, SOC2).
• Experience working in global corporations or across multinational teams.
• Previous experience in Big Four accounting firms or IT consulting roles.
• Hands-on experience with IT system implementation, operations, or information security practices.
• Business-level proficiency in Japanese or Korean is a plus.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively across global teams.
• Flexibility to travel internationally up to 20%.

Wattpad is conducting all interviews in a distributed manner using applicable third party software where needed and using visual interface tools such as Google Meet and Zoom.
