How you will impact the organization…

We're seeking a driven Vice President of Sales to lead our Strategic Account Executive Team in acquiring new customers and expanding revenue within existing accounts. You'll spearhead revenue growth and minimize churn within your assigned territory, focusing on companies with 5,000+ employees and 1 billion in revenue across Healthcare, Finance, Legal, Real Estate, Retail, and Manufacturing sectors.

  • Foster a positive and results-oriented team culture
  • Recruit, hire, onboard, and train high-performing Account Executives
  • Provide ongoing coaching and mentorship to team members
  • Conduct regular performance reviews and provide constructive feedback.
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities (New Logo and Upsell/Cross-sell) within the assigned territory
  • Establish a robust sales motion and methodology specifically tailored to managing complex, enterprise accounts. This includes creating detailed account plans, identifying key stakeholders, and understanding customer needs and challenges.
  • Cultivate strong relationships with key decision-makers within customer organizations
  • Work cross-functionally with internal teams (e.g., product, marketing, professional services, customer success) to ensure seamless customer experience and drive account growth.
  • Monitor key sales metrics and track progress towards goals
  • Ensure the team utilizes CRM and other sales tools effectively
  • Leverage sales enablement tools for best practices, solutions, and automation processes
  • Help negotiate long-term contracts (24-36 months) with existing clients with focus on an increase in monthly recurring revenue and solutions utilized
  • Provide accurate pipelines and forecast models to senior management on a weekly/monthly/quarterly basis 
  • Exceed bookings and revenue targets
  • Travel as needed to grow and protect revenue

What you will bring to the table… 

  • 10+ years of experience in strategic account management with a focus on large, global enterprise customers, preferably within the healthcare or healthcare adjacent industry.
  • 10+ years of experience in utilizing CRM platforms, preferably Salesforce
  • 10+ years experience as a people leader
  • 5+ years of experience in account management and revenue development
  • 5+ years of experience presenting to senior leadership via phone and video conference
  • 2+ years of experience in a role with a heavy focus on prospecting / hunting
  • Driven and self-motivated to exceed targets
  • Deep understanding of sales methodologies and account planning frameworks.
  • Solid understanding of the healthcare industry, including key trends, challenges, and regulations
  • Ability to think strategically and develop comprehensive account plans
  • Strong sense of urgency
  • Exceptional relationship selling skills
  • Coachable, driven to expand knowledge
  • Agile and adaptable to evolving business needs
  • Advanced communication communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Exceptional presentation skills
  • Ability to explain complex, technical concepts to a wide variety of audiences
  • Familiarity with healthcare IT systems, data analytics, and relevant technologies (e.g., EHR, telecommunications, cloud computing). Ability to understand and articulate the technical aspects of our company's solutions to customers.

  • MEDDICC Certification
  • Zoominfo
  • Demonstrable knowledge of healthcare IT systems, including Electronic Health Records (EHR), Practice Management Systems, Revenue Cycle Management (RCM) software, telehealth platforms, health information exchanges (HIE), and data analytics platforms. Ability to discuss these technologies confidently with healthcare IT professionals and executives.
  • Possesses a strong network of relationships with key decision-makers and influencers within leading healthcare organizations (e.g., hospital systems, payers, provider groups).

  • Location requirements: Remote, US 
  • Travel requirements: Up to 30% travel
  • Physical requirements: Must be able to sit for long periods, as well as, handle long periods of screen time
  • Technology requirements: Reliable, high speed internet
  • Eligible for sponsorship: No

The salary range for this role is $205,000 - $215,000 U.S. annually.  The total compensation package for this position is negotiable and may also include annual performance bonus, ESPP, enhanced time off packages and benefits. This job doesn't have an expiration date and will remain open until a qualified candidate is hired.
