We are seeking a Vice President, Business Development to join our rapidly growing team. This role is responsible for leveraging deep vertical experience and expertise across Retail, CPG, Travel, and Hospitality to best position Bounteous x Accolite's digital capabilities and offerings to solve critical client challenges.


As sales leader, the Vice President of Business Development is responsible for coordinating with marketing, business development representatives (BDRs), and client service teams on prospecting activities, qualifying opportunities for suitability and fit, developing relationships and opportunities to uncover specific business challenges, and opportunities, developing plans and proposals highlighting our service offerings, and defining and executing winning strategies to close major deals.

Information Security Responsibilities

  • Promote and enforce awareness of key information security practices, including acceptable use of information assets, malware protection, and password security protocols
  • Identify, assess, and report security risks, focusing on how these risks impact the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of information assets
  • Understand and evaluate how data is stored, processed, or transmitted, ensuring compliance with data privacy and protection standards (GDPR, CCPA, etc.)
  • Ensure data protection measures are integrated throughout the information lifecycle to safeguard sensitive information

Role and Responsibilities

  • Directly qualify, develop, and close deals that drive $5MM calendar year ‘New Business’ revenue with $15MM in TCV
  • Support sales revenue forecasting, resource/staffing forecasting, and annual budgeting processes
  • Conduct research into target organizations to uncover power and business needs
  • Drive prospecting efforts within current client base and in target customer profiles to generate leads
  • Seek, find, and connect with influencers and key decision-makers within prospective client organizations
  • Develop differentiated win strategies in partnership with solution and competency leads
  • Deliver inspirational, winning proposals and presentations that articulate and demonstrate our unique position to envision and build robust digital experiences

Preferred Qualifications

  • 10+ years of experience successfully closing strategic deals worth $3MM+ in annual revenue for a systems integrator, eCommerce provider, or digital agency
  • 5+ years of experience specifically selling to retail, CPG, and/or travel and hospitality companies
  • Outstanding executive presence, presentation, and negotiation skills; the ability to inspire, engage, partner with, and influence executive-level leadership
  • Exceptional written communication skills; the ability to craft persuasive and polished proposal copy and written communications
  • Extremely strong listening skills; a keen ability to listen for client pain and unspoken objections and ultimately develop insights into win strategies
  • Bachelor's degree and/or equivalent experience preferred
