The Voice Account Executive on the Engagement Platforms squad is responsible for managing customer relationships and the development and performance of all sales activities in their assigned market. This position requires a strong aptitude for identifying customer business needs and building relationships with primary influencers in the purchasing decision process.

 

The ideal candidate has extensive customer-facing experience and is comfortable with developing mid- and long-term strategies, sales forecasting, and other business needs. This is a unique opportunity to help build a high growth business.

Responsibilities:

  • Manages outcome-based customer relationships.

  • Implements a sales strategy to ensure that sales meet or exceed sales targets.

  • Develops and delivers accurate short- and long-term sales forecasts that are in line with business objectives.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 5 to 7 years of experience in Telecom Sales/Carrier Sales Management and has demonstrated a consistent, successful sales track record. Experience in the Telecom industry required.

  • Messaging experience is a plus and/or CPaaS highly desired.

  • Team player with strong interpersonal and excellent written/verbal communication skills who can develop strong relationships with internal and external parties.

  • Experience with negotiating, decision-making, and closing with prospects as well as customers.

  • Flexible self-starter who thrives in a fast-paced work environment.

  • Excited and motivated to drive the growth of a cutting-edge consumer brand.

  • Willing and able to travel and work in a global team of professionals.

  • Proficient with various technical tools such as: Outlook, Teams, SharePoint, Salesforce, Microsoft Office tools (Excel, Word, PowerPoint), etc.

Additional Information

Salary Range: $95,000 to $125,000 annually (the salary of the selected candidate will be based on a variety of factors, including but not limited to job-related knowledge, experience, education, skillset, and internal equity). This position is also eligible for commissions. If targets are met, variable compensation may be paid out quarterly (based on company discretion) in addition to earning an annual base salary.

Way of Work: While we prefer to hire near our regional office/s in Chicago, Seattle, or Jersey City for hybrid/onsite work, we are open to candidates who desire the ability to work remotely and will accept applications from those who reside in locations across the U.S.
